Same dog. Very different Rambo. 🐾

Rambo came in a little scruffy and left looking (and feeling) like a brand new boy. A wash, a trim and plenty of fuss — just how he likes it. Look at his glow up ➡️

Think short-haired dogs don’t need hand stripping? Think again! 👀🐶

Just look at the difference in Stanley after his hand strip! ✂️🐾

Hand stripping isn’t just about making a dog look neat, for the right wire-haired coats, it helps remove the dead outer coat while maintaining the coat’s natural texture and colour.

It’s especially important for breeds like Schnauzers and other wire-haired dogs where clipping can, over time, change the texture of the coat and make it softer.

So even if your dog’s coat looks short, it doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t need regular hand stripping. 🐶✂️

It’s Pet Obesity Awareness Day, and while those puppy dog eyes make it so hard to say no to extra treats, keeping our pets at a healthy weight is one of the best ways to help them live longer, happier lives. 🐕💪

Extra weight can lead to joint pain, heart disease, and lower energy levels, but the good news is, small changes can make a big difference!

✨ Try these tips:
🍗 Swap high-calorie treats for healthy, natural options (like our artisan dog biscuits!)
🏃♀️ Add an extra walk or a play session each day.
⚖️ Check your dog’s shape regularly, you should be able to feel their ribs without pressing hard.
💧 Keep them hydrated and cool, especially after exercise.

Sunny came in for his groom and a little extra TLC for those matted ears. 🐾

Once we’d carefully sorted them out and given him a lovely fresh groom, look at that gorgeous face!

Regular grooming and keeping on top of those easily missed areas, like around the ears, can make such a difference to your dog’s comfort and coat health.

I honestly can’t quite believe I’m writing this… 🥹🐾

Grooming Pawgeous has been shortlisted as a 2026 Finalist for Best Pet Business at the UK Small Business Awards! 🏆

What started with my love of dogs has grown into so much more than just dog grooming.

From our 5★ dog grooming services, to doggy daycare and home boarding, I’ve always wanted to create a place where dogs are treated with the same love, care and attention I’d want for my own. Gloria, our mobile pet shop, bringing treats and goodies to local events… 🚐🐾

And our newest adventure, The Barkery, where we’re creating and selling our own range of artisan dog treats and goodies. 🧁🐶

Every dog, every booking, every biscuit, every market and every waggy tail has helped make Grooming Pawgeous what it is today.

Our little van is up for sale as no longer needed

248k mileage due to being used up and down the motorway in a previous ownership but this van has never failed me.
It does smoke on first start up due to a fault known on these diesel engines, the injectors like to dribble when not used but after 30 seconds or so it clears up and has never been an issue on testing.

Few scuffs as to be expected for age and mileage
£600 ono
