It has now grown in to a lovely family business , as my daughter Chloe now works with me. We offer Home Boarding/Doggy Day Care/Walks & Pet Pop ins for all types of pets.

Lexie had her behaviour assessment today. It was extremely good.

She is a very scared little dog so lots of woofing at the behaviourist, but we now have a framework in place, a full written report on the way & she also can start attending training sessions from Saturday.

By the end of the 3 hr session, she was fast asleep on the floor, rather than surgically attached to me. I was able to have a conversation without her trying to get my attention constantly. 2 weeks of consistent behaviour therapy & help re wiring her brain & mine, I am certain that we will have a much more confident, resilient dog that can be less fearful and more independent.

* for context, She arrived as a 4 mth puppy, terrified & filthy, no house training, no basic commands. zero socialisation, and living in a yard with adult dogs that didn't like her much. Black & yellow, not black & white as she was stained with dog p*e. It took her 3 weeks to leave the living room by herself to explore the other rooms here. She loves the day care & home boarding dogs here but needs confidence with people. Plus she is feeling overwhelmed now Tia isn't with us. Honestly, it is a challenge but one I am 110% committed to.

* I do not breed, he was a litter from a pregnant kitty that I helped the owner with. Mum's are spayed & rehomed or return to the owner when ready. Depending on the owners circumstances/preference.

Finlay went to live with my daughter in law, so like today, when I visit my grandsons I get to see Finn too. 💙
