All the kids have gone off to their new homes apart from a pair of gorgeous twin girls, Willow and Laurel. They are registered in the BGS Foundation book and are just a few matings away from British Guernsey. If anyone is interested in giving them a new home please message me. They are out of a very milky line so should hopefully produce lots of milk. They are well handled and used to children and dogs. They are 6 months old now so I'll get some updated photos

UPDATE: He's now found a new home 😊.
We have finished kidding all but one of our lovely ladies for this year. We had lots of beautiful female kids! Of the 3 boys we had 2 are now wethers but we have 1 very good quality billy kid left. His full brother who went off to pastures new last year is absolutely stunning. If anyone is looking for a billy kid please get in touch in the next couple of days as otherwise he'll be turned into a wether too. He is horned and will be registered. He is very well handled and used to children and dogs.

There's nothing quite like cute goat kid pictures so here are some of this year's kids. We still have some wethers and a couple of girls looking for new homes including a lovely cross bred girl who is 3 generations of breeding towards British Guernsey. Enjoy 🐐😊

I haven't posted in an age so thought it was about time as we've just finished kidding for this year. We had 7 boys and 5 girls and 2 sets of triplets! I've never ever had triplets so to get 2 sets in the same year was quite a surprise. I've got one boy who is really good, he's out of one of my best females who carries a rare line and my Billy who is from a very milky line. I have to castrate him in the next 2 days unless there's someone reading this who is after a good Billy 😉. I'll put his photo below. He is just a few hours old in this pic and not quite dry! I should also add he is horned as I've had nothing but terrible scurs from disbudded billys.

So this year having a newborn baby of our own we decided to give all the girls a rest from breeding so we could focus more on our new addition and not have to get up (even more!) during the night to check on heavily pregnant goats. It appears our young Billy, Gerry had other ideas and managed to get 4 of them pregnant on the couple of occasions he escaped in August! To top this off they will be January kids so we have fleece puppy coats at the ready!

I haven't posted in such a long time I thought it was time for an update. All this years kids have found happy homes to go to and the last 2 boys leave in a couple of weeks. It's so rewarding to raise the kids with their mums and then see them go off to their new homes. We welcomed a new addition into our household too with our new son arriving in June so he's kept us very busy! Here's a picture of the herd enjoying their tea, they are all looking really well and happy 😊

Our lovely Emily (Guernsey x Boer) had twins this year! Bit earlier than we usually plan for as she had an unplanned date with our Guernsey Billy! Meet Pippa and Peter. They are absolutely adorable and very strong! Mum is amazing as she is very experienced. Both kids are very friendly but Peter will jump at you for cuddles! Peter is the dark one and Pippa has the white patches like her Mum.
