Drop ins/ early morning/ late evening walks available subject to temperature and breed.of dog.
I genuinely can't believe I've just seen someone walking their dog down the road in 29Β°C heat. π€¬
If you're too hot walking around in shorts and a T-shirt, imagine doing it wearing a fur coat and being unable to sweat properly.
The pavement is scorching, the air is stifling, and it only takes a few minutes for a dog to overheat. Heatstroke can be fatal and can happen far quicker than people realise.
There is absolutely no need to be walking dogs in this temperature. Get up early, wait until late evening, or give them some garden time and enrichment at home instead.
Your dog doesn't need a walk today. It needs keeping cool and safe. πΎβοΈ
