Eddies first time up the lanes (and first time being ridden in over a week 🙈) AND only his second time in company! All while he behaves like a pro 🥰
He lead in front the whole way, went over and through any obstacle (even a scary puddle 🫣) and even went over a small cross pole when we got home. He really is the most polite younger ever 😁❤️

Not the best pics but Eddie took a big old leap today. He’s been out with a walker or in company but never alone, he’s only been broken 3 coming 4 weeks and ridden a max of 2-3 times a week. Between everyone working it’s hard to stay consistent with him, but he doesn’t seem to be bothered!
Today I took it upon myself to hack him out completely alone as he’s just been an absolute gem since the day we started him, and guess what!? He was a gem again today! 😁
I haven’t been posting much, especially much of Eddie as we’ve owned him since Nov 23 and only recently has he been backed. But I think that’s affected him positively, no rushing and gave him time to mature. I’m excited to get him going and start his journey now 🥰

After just over a week of long reining (that I managed not to get any decent videos of 🙄), and a few sits inside the stable, Joe the Sec D stallion is out on the road and fully backed. Can you believe this is his first time out on the road and being properly ridden!?
Please excuse the no high vis 🫣 we only intended on walking him down the drive and around the yard but he was doing so well we ended up taking him around the block quickly 😅❤️

Zar Zar out for a long rein today after being mouthed for a week and lunged the last few days. She’s taken to it very well with a really soft mouth, I don’t think she’ll be too bothered when she’s ready to be ridden! 🤣

Please note : the lead rein is only flipped over her neck like that for the video to be taken, before and after this video my father was on the and of it incase she was to get spooked - however I don’t think she needed it 🥰

After a couple of days in the cart around our fields, sherry made it out onto the road today! She’s a little superstar and is just so genuine. A few more drives out on the road to gain her experience then she’s heading off home to further her education and have some fun 🥰

Sherry’s first time with the cart behind her and she behaved amazingly.

You may wonder why there’s two people holding onto her head with lead ropes - (they are attatched to the head collar under the bridle not the bit). - This is because sherry has taken a while to settle with the sounds behind her and not being able to see them due to the blinkers. So to prevent any injuries or damage to the cart we have two people up front, and me behind attatched to the long reins. Is she was ever to get spooked and try to shoot off, between the three of us we can stop her. Meaning we were stopping her from injuring herself from all of the tack and cart, and also preventing damaging the cart in any way.

Luckily for us she wasn’t worried at all today 🥰

Finally back home and can get this little mare going now.
Sherry towing the tyre behind her to get her ready for a cart 😁 she just takes everything in her stride.
