Looking forward to teaching at another British Dressage camp

Our senior camp was so popular that we decided to host our youth camp in the same location! Join us for youth camp at Lluest Equine, Aberystwyth as we reunite friends from the north and south of the region! Some very rusted blades brought back to life to use again for a dog groomer.

Not all of them could be saved due to the corrosion on the blade tips that couldn’t be sharpened out,
but for the ones that could be sharpened it’s still cheaper than buying new blades.

I get blades sent to me for sharpening like this 🤦‍♀️
If you brush the hair away to store them you’ll get less corrosion from moisture sticking to the blades and they will last longer.

‼️Blades seemed to have gone dull mid clip?⁉️😫

Clipped hair can become trapped between the cutting surfaces of the blades to prevent them from cutting properly. 🛑

Stop the clipper and remove the blades to give them and the inside of the clipper head, a brush out to remove all the collected hair. This only takes a few minutes and is often all that's needed to get your clippers cutting well again. ✂️🧹👌

Demagnetising clipper blades.

An important part of the sharpening process.
The magnetic 🧲 field needs to be removed to keep your blades sharper for longer.
Particles of dirt will stick to the blades and cause blades to dull quickly and heat up as the blades become magnetised during sharpening.
