HELPED NEEDED FRIDAY 2nd OCTOBER

Would anyone be free on Friday to lift and move poles for me at Quob? I would need you from 4pm to 6:30pm. Very happy to pay in tea/coffee/cake.

🗺️ West Sussex Riders: Reporting a Rights of Way Problem is Changing

If you ride, carriage drive or use Public Rights of Way in West Sussex, there's an important change coming that could affect how you report issues on your local routes.

From 2 October 2026, West Sussex County Council's Public Rights of Way email inbox ([email protected]) will no longer accept reports or enquiries. Instead, all issues must be submitted through the Council's online reporting system.

The new process makes it easier to:
✅ Pinpoint the exact location of a problem on an interactive map
✅ Provide detailed information about the issue
✅ Upload photos to support your report

Whether you're reporting an obstructed bridleway, damaged surface, overgrown vegetation or another access issue, using the online form will help ensure reports are logged and prioritised appropriately.

🔗 Report a problem:

Are you starting to think about winter hay supply? This is a great article about using straw in the diet. Not as a full replacement but partial. This article suggests it may just be a good win for the good doers this winter.

Feeding a horse straw is safe to do if done correctly and has an important place in the diet you provide for your horse
