Our handsome guy arrived looking lovely and fluffy… but definitely due for his very own RuPaws refresh! 💛

We spoiled him with the full works:
🛁 Luxurious bath & bouncy blow-dry
✂️ Tailored trim to keep him comfy and stylish
🧹 Carefully worked through any tangles to leave his coat silky smooth
💅 And yep… even the nails got some attention! 😂

✨ First in at RuPaws… it’s our gorgeous Barley! ✨

Look who popped in for a much-needed summer glow-up! ☀️🥰

She arrived looking beautifully fluffy… but oh-so-ready for a refresh! We gave her the full RuPaws treatment:
🛁 Lovely bath & fluffy blow-dry
✂️ Neat trim and tidy shave where needed
🧹 Tamed that wonderfully matted beard!
💅 And then… the DRAMA when we did her nails 😂😂

Safe to say she wasn’t overly impressed with that last part… but the second I told her she was ALL DONE? Total transformation! 😍 Happy, cool, comfy, and looking absolutely fabulous — ready to enjoy the sunshine in style! 💛

Look who’s the newest star of the RuPaws crew – give a massive warm welcome to Edward! 🎉

When Edward first trotted in, he was carrying quite a lot of coat trouble. His fur was thick, heavily matted in places, and it was clearly weighing him down and making him uncomfortable. We knew straight away this wasn’t a quick trim job – this needed full RuPaws TLC, buckets of patience, and a totally bespoke plan just for him. 💛

We took everything slow and steady, no rushing at all! Working gently section by section, we carefully eased out every last knot and tight mat, making sure Edward felt safe, calm, and loved the whole way through. We didn’t skip a single step: soothing baths, nourishing conditioning, careful detangling, and a fresh, tailored cut that suits him perfectly.

And just look at the difference! ✨
He’s gone from fluffy and overgrown to hello, handsome! All that heavy fur is gone, and suddenly he looks bright, bouncy, and years younger – like a whole new dog! He was so wiggly and happy the second he stood up, you could tell he already felt so much lighter and comfier.

He’s now all preened, polished, and so ready to show his mum his stunning new look – and of course, first things first: he’s desperate to get outside and play ball! 🎾💨

Edward, you were an absolute superstar through every step of the groom – welcome to the RuPaws family, handsome boy! 🥰

This morning we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the beautiful Tiffany & handsome Ralphie for their grooms! ✨



🩷 Tiffany — Our Gorgeous Bichon Frise

We started with a warm, soothing bath using our gentle, moisturising shampoo to get her fluffy white coat sparkling clean and beautifully soft. Then came a thorough, careful brush-out to gently work through any tangles and remove loose fur — keeping that signature poofy Bichon coat light, airy, and bouncy! ✨

We gave her that classic, elegant Bichon shape — sc******ng her coat to keep it beautifully rounded and plush, full of that lovely poofy volume she’s known for. We shaped her face perfectly to frame those sweet eyes and cute button nose, keeping that fluffy teddy-bear look everyone adores. Her paws were trimmed neat and round, sanitary area tidied, nails clipped, ears cleaned, and finished with a light spritz of fresh fragrance. She’s absolutely glowing — fluffy, white, and perfectly pristine! 🤍



💙 Ralphie

Ralphie enjoyed a luxurious deep-clean bath followed by a full brush-through to lift all loose hair and keep his coat in top condition. We gave him his signature tidy trim, shaping his coat to keep it neat and easy to maintain while keeping his natural look. His paws were trimmed nice and tidy, ears cleaned, nails clipped, and he got his favourite finishing spritz — looking so smart and handsome, ready to show off! 🤩



Both were absolute superstars today — such good pups, so calm and patient throughout every step 🐶🐶

To my wonderful RuPaws family 🐾💛

I just wanted to pop in and say the biggest thank you – and also apologise if you’ve been waiting a little longer than usual to hear back from me! 🙏

I’ve been absolutely overwhelmed (in the best way!) by the flood of messages, calls and emails coming in – thank you so much for all the love, interest and support you’ve shown RuPaws lately. I’m working through every single one as fast as I can, and I really hope I’ve managed to get back to everyone now!

It means the absolute world to me that you trust me with your precious fur babies – there’s no bigger privilege than getting to care for them.

Just a little note too: spaces are filling up super fast right now and availability is very limited – so if you’re hoping to book in, please do get in touch as soon as you can!

This boy was in desperate need of some TLC, and we were so honoured to give him the full RuPaws glow-up he so richly deserves! ✂️✨ We’re talking fresh trim, fluffy finish, and that signature RuPaws shine that turns heads everywhere you go…

And let’s be real – Jack didn’t just take this makeover… he absolutely lived for every single second of it! Strutting out looking like the main character he was always meant to be 💅

🌞 IMPORTANT UPDATE | RU PAWS FAMILY 🐾

Good morning everyone! 🐾♥️

Given the forecast for very high temperatures this week, I’ve made the decision to run morning appointments only and reschedule all afternoon/evening slots. As always, the health, comfort and safety of your dogs comes first – always.

Here’s why grooming in temperatures above 27°C just isn’t safe or fair for our furry friends:

✅ Dogs can’t cool down like we do – they only sweat through their paw pads and cool themselves by panting. Grooming adds extra physical effort and heat, putting them at real risk of heatstroke very quickly.

✅ Stress raises body temperature – being handled, bathed, dried and brushed is hard work! Hot conditions make this much more stressful, pushing their temperature up to dangerous levels faster.

✅ Hot surfaces & equipment – floors, tables, dryers and even metal tools get extremely warm, which can burn sensitive paw pads or skin, and adds to their discomfort.

✅ Bathing & drying risks – warm air + damp fur traps heat close to the skin, making it almost impossible for them to regulate their temperature properly afterwards.

✅ Overheating happens fast – even healthy dogs can become unwell in minutes, and breeds like Pugs, Frenchies, Spaniels, long-haired or older dogs are at even higher risk.

I’ll be in touch very soon to rearrange your appointment to a cooler day – I promise your pups will be looking their absolute best when we see them! 💛
