Please be kind to your dog walkers
It’s another scorcher for the dogs this week, and honestly, us dog walkers really can’t seem to catch a break! 🐾☀️
I feel so incredibly sad for those who have recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to step away from their businesses, especially with work getting quieter and the summer holidays making things even harder.
But I just wanted to say this: please don’t let closing your business make you forget everything you achieved. ❤️
Look at the courage, time, love and effort you poured into building something of your own. You followed a path that was yours, and you proved to yourself that you could take an idea and turn it into something real. That takes an incredible amount of bravery.
I can’t imagine how hard it must be to close the doors on something you worked so hard for. But please don’t measure your success by the fact that it came to an end.
Sometimes an ending isn’t a failure — it’s simply the end of one chapter.
You still did it.
You still built it.
You still gave it everything you had.
And nobody can ever take that away from you.
So please be kind to yourself. Be proud of what you created, the people you met, the lessons you learned and the strength you found along the way.
Changing direction doesn’t mean you’re going backwards. Your story doesn’t end here — it just changes. 🌅
And to every dog walker still battling the quiet spells, cancellations, weather and rising costs: I see you. Keep going, keep believing, and remember how far you’ve already come. 🐾❤️
And to those who have had to walk away — hold your head high. You should be incredibly proud of yourself. ❤️
