(Subject to KC approval)

I would just quickly like to thank Arfon Working Gundog Club, Land Owners, G*ns, Judges, Helpers and everyone behind the scenes who made today possible.

Lucy has taken 1st place and Guns Choice which makes her up to a Field Trial Champion.

She is my first working dog and has achieved so much, she literally is a dog in a million.

Super happy with how Madame Maize ran in her first trial this year (Second trial overall). She gained a CoM and was one of the youngest dogs running and to complete.

Fingers crossed for the next one🤞

Madame Maize has gained another award today. This time it's 3rd place in a Novice Walked Up held by Barton on Humber.
She ran a really good test, couldn't of asked for any more. Really happy with how she performed, just didn't have that little bit of credit for the win.

We also ran Clova who made it to her fourth retrieve. She was very clean upto this point. Her last retrieve was abit of a stretch for a young dog and handling at Long Distance and in Thistles is an area I know we need working on. Again really happy with this young dog.

We have Skye (Orange Collar) back for a few days while there owners go on holiday. Unfortunately Skye couldn't go as she hadn't had her 2nd vaccination in time.

She is a fabulous pup and has alot of energy.

Madame Maize gained 2nd place at CNWSRSS Novice Test held at Red Hall Farm.
We had a run off for 1st place but being the madame she is, we wasn't able to complete the retrieve.
Overall really happy with how she performed prior to the run off.

We also ran Lucy in the Open Test in the afternoon. Unfortunately the first test we got a zero but after that she gained 19, 17, 19 which I was really pleased with. Time to get her into shape and polished up ready for the season ahead.

A quick thank you to the Club, Judges, Helpers and Sponsors for a really enjoyable day.

Barney (Lime Green) will soon leave us and go to his new home, in the mean time we are teaching all the pups to settle in there cages and still exposing them to everything we can to build nice confident happy pups.
