🐾 MEET BRANDY — READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🐾

Brandy’s story started when a kind-hearted little girl found him and did everything she could to help him. She fed him milk and cared for him, but sadly, Brandy became unwell and needed more help than she could give.

That’s when he came into foster care, where he was given the love, care and support he desperately needed ❤️

Thankfully, Brandy is now happy, healthy and ready to find his forever family! 🏡🐾

This little boy has already overcome so much for such a young puppy, and now all he needs is someone who will love him unconditionally and show him just how wonderful life can be.

Brandy deserves a family who will make him part of their world — for all the adventures, cuddles, muddy paws and happy memories still to come 🥹❤️

❄️ WINTER IS COMING - WE NEED YOUR HELP 🐾

Romanian winters can reach -17°C, and right now we are not prepared.

Our puppy kennels are insufficient and many of our dog houses are broken or damaged. With over 120 dogs depending on us, we urgently need to repair and replace their shelters before the freezing weather arrives.

💔 They cannot tell us they’re cold
🏠 We need to give them somewhere safe and warm
🙏 But we cannot do it alone

Meet Dargo 🐾❤️

Imagine being abandoned, completely alone, and left to fend for yourself in the middle of nowhere.

That was Dargo’s reality.

When he was found, he was covered in car oil. We don’t know what happened to him or how long he had been there, but somehow, this beautiful boy kept going.

Despite everything he has been through, Dargo still has so much love to give. He deserves a safe home, a warm bed, a full tummy and, most importantly, someone who will never abandon him again.

Dargo’s past does not define him. His future can be completely different. ❤️

He is now looking for his forever family — someone who will show him that humans can be kind, that he is safe, and that he is finally home.

This handsome boy is Bones - a beautiful 2-year-old male who is now ready to find the family he has been waiting for 🥹❤️

Bones was found searching for food near the place where Theea buys food for the shelter dogs. He was clearly trying to survive on his own, but thankfully he was spotted and given a second chance.

🐾 THE 3-3-3 RULE - HELPING YOUR RESCUE DOG SETTLE 🇷🇴❤️

Bringing a rescue dog home is incredibly rewarding, but it’s important to remember that they’ve just had their whole world turned upside down.

For Romanian rescue dogs especially, the journey can be a huge change. New people, new smells, a new home, new routines and sometimes a completely different environment.

That’s where the 3-3-3 rule can help you understand what your new dog may be going through 🐶

🐾 THE FIRST 3 DAYS

“Where am I?”

Your dog may be:
• Nervous, frightened or withdrawn
• Very quiet or hiding
• Unsure about eating or drinking
• Overwhelmed by new sights and sounds
• Toileting indoors
• Clingy - or wanting to be left alone

❤️ Give them time. Keep things calm and quiet. Don’t overwhelm them with visitors, walks or lots of attention.

🐾 THE FIRST 3 WEEKS

“Can I trust you?”

Your dog may slowly start to:
• Show their personality
• Become more confident
• Learn your routine
• Build a bond with you
• Explore more of their surroundings
• Test boundaries as they feel safer

You may see behaviours that weren’t there during the first few days. This doesn’t mean they’re going backwards - it can mean they’re finally feeling safe enough to be themselves.

🐾 THE FIRST 3 MONTHS

“This is my home.” 🏡❤️

With patience, consistency and love, your dog may:
• Become much more settled
• Develop confidence
• Feel secure in their new routine
• Build a strong bond with their family
• Begin to truly understand that they are home

However - the 3-3-3 rule is a guideline, not a deadline

Every dog is different

Some settle within days. Others may need weeks or months. A dog who has experienced neglect, abandonment or life in a shelter may need considerably longer.

🐾 DON’T GIVE UP ON THEM 🙏

They don’t understand that they’re safe yet

They don’t know that they’re staying

They don’t know that the food will keep coming

They don’t know that the person who opened the door won’t leave them behind

You know they’re home. They need time to learn it ❤️

🇷🇴 Every Romanian rescue deserves the chance to decompress, heal and discover what it feels like to be loved.

3 days to decompress
3 weeks to begin adjusting
3 months to truly settle

Give them time. Give them patience. Give them love 🐾❤️
