🐾Wednesday’s walkies 🐾

First up this morning was Kelso, Giorgio, Minnie and Stanley. These four were so well behaved that even a lady passing by with her dog commented on how good they were! Her little dog was great fun, and Minnie really enjoyed having a play. They even got a treat off her, so that was an added bonus! 😍 Kelso and Minnie had a good run around chasing one another, but once Kelso had had enough of Minnie, she turned her attention to our birthday boy Giorgio. Stealing his ball, chasing his tail and generally winding him up. 😂 Luckily, Giorgio doesn’t bat an eyelid and gets his own back because, on every walk they have together, he spends the entire walk back to the van sniffing Minnie’s bum, which annoys the hell out of her. 🤣 And my little Stanley was good as gold as always, sniffing his way around and doing what he loves best. ❤️

Next up was Felix, Pixie, Duchess and Benny, and we headed to the beach. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was. We practically had the whole place to ourselves! Duchess and Benny spent most of the walk chasing one another and having the best time, while Duchess tried several times to get Pixie involved. Pixie was having absolutely none of it! 😂 She did surprise me by venturing into the water, though. That belly must have been freezing! Haha. Felix was doing his funny little jumps and his dancey walk, and honestly, he looks so happy on the beach. It really brings him to life, and it’s lovely to see. 🥰 They were all so well behaved and happy, although I don’t think the birds would agree! Duchess was chasing them nonstop and even went for a little swim, coming back absolutely soaking wet. 🤣🌊

Last up was George, Boo and Ruby, and Bonnie we headed to the fields. Ruby was off her lead for the entire walk, and I was absolutely thrilled. That’s two days in a row! Brilliant work, Ruby. Let’s keep it going! 🥳❤️ Boo is in heat at the moment, but I had a feeling George wouldn’t bat an eyelid, and I was right. He gave her a couple of sniffs, she told him off, and that was that. 😂 Boo, on the other hand, spent the walk chasing him nonstop, which I think he secretly quite enjoyed. George is usually quite happy doing his own thing, he didn’t tell her off once, and he’s normally very good at letting everyone know what he doesn’t like! We had lots of other doggies joining us and passing by on this walk, so it was lovely for everyone to have a chance to mix and mingle. 🐾

🐾Tuesday’s walkies 🐾

Tuesday started with a solo walk with me and Stanley. Thank goodness the weather changed because we had such a gorgeous, warm walk around Stanley’s fields. He did more running than walking today! He must have really fancied a good jog because he was absolutely flying around and keeping me on my toes. Makes a nice change, haha! 😂

Next up for our mid-morning walk was Duchess, Felix, Pixie and Boo. Boo has come into season, so I thought this could be interesting, but luckily she was left alone, which I was very pleased about! Everyone had a good sniff when she first came out the van, then she and Duchess took off chasing each other like the pair of crazies they are. 😂 Pixie had herself a little admirer today in the shape of Obi, a gorgeous little Pomeranian who clearly took a shine to her. It was so cute watching them wandering around together, although at one point he was having a good sniff of her bum and Pixie turned around and gave him a little nose whip. The poor lad let out a sneeze!🤣Little Felix was absolutely delighted to be out and about, as always. He really does love his walks! He was a little intrigued by Boo and seemed to fancy a bit she took that for a game of wrestling, but Felix soon put a stop to that. Haha! We passed lots of lovely, friendly dogs along the way and bumped into our pal Reggie, who gave Boo a proper run for her money. And then there was Duchess, decided to come trotting over with half a dead bird in her mouth! 🤢

Our next walk was with Benny, Herbie, Thunder and Ruby, and I kept Felix with us too because he lives too far away to pop home in between walks. 🙈

Ruby absolutely made my day today. She’s been a little out of sorts over the last month, but today she really came back out of her shell. She was happily walking off lead, doing lots of sniffing and fast walking, and she even took a treat from me, which she hasn’t done for ages. I was absolutely over the moon to see her enjoying herself again. ❤️ Herbie was full of beans too, although he did give me a little scare when he came out of his house and took a tumble. I think he was just a bit too excited to see me! I was worried his legs might give way, but thankfully he got himself sorted and managed really well on the walk. Benny and Thunder were today’s roly-poly champions. I’m convinced they were competing with each other because every time one had a roll, the other had to join in. Benny did three, so naturally Thunder had to keep up! Felix kept up brilliantly. I’m pretty sure he’ll be flat out asleep until his mum gets home later!

🐾Monday’s walkies 🐾

First up for our mid-morning walk were Stanley, Duchess, Pixie and Minnie.

Once we got onto the field, everyone came off their leads and Duchess found a tennis ball straight away. Minnie spent most of the walk chasing after her, trying to get the ball, but she had absolutely no chance! Duchess is one fast girl and loves her ball far too much to give it up easily. 😂🎾 Pixie was a little nervous today. It was so quiet where we were that you could hear a pin drop, so every little noise seemed to catch her attention. She was on and off the lead throughout the walk, but still had a lovely time sniffing and exploring. She came over for lots of fuss, although Duchess kept muscling in every time I tried to give anyone else some attention! 🤣 Stanley was busy sniffing absolutely everything, so we spent quite a bit of time waiting for him to catch up. He can walk fast when he wants to, but apparently, there were far too many interesting smells to investigate today!And then Minnie decided to have a wee in my van. 🙈 So that was fun to clean up! Hopefully she won’t be doing that again!

Next up were Benny, Herbie and Felix, and we headed to Sandhaven Beach.

There was hardly anyone else down there, which surprised me because it was lovely! The boys all took off running, which I love to see, and Benny was especially excited. He had the zoomies about a million times and even tried to get Felix to chase him. Felix was having absolutely none of it and clearly thought he was far too old for that nonsense! 😂
They did really well, walking the full length of the beach and back. We even stopped at the wall for five minutes of sniffing around the rocks. These three were right little greedy guts today and cleared out the treat wallet! By the time we got back to the van, they looked absolutely exhausted.

A lovely couple of walks to start the week! 🐾

🐾Friday’s walkies 🐾

I was joined this morning by George, Minnie, Bonnie, Felix and Duchess.

Minnie and Duchess were rolling around in the grass, grabbing at each other, biting the life out of one another and generally behaving like a pair of lunatics. I don’t think they stopped for breath! You’d think they’d have had enough after five minutes, but absolutely not. Then we had George, who was in his absolute element doing what George does best… running💨 This boy was flying up and down those fields like he’d got somewhere very important to be. He’d sprint all the way to the top, turn around, come hurtling back towards me to check in and then immediately turn around and take off again! 🤣 He was having the time of his life, and thankfully, nobody decided to bother him, so he could crack on with his own little marathon in peace. Bringing up the rear, we had our two OAPs, Bonnie and Felix, who clearly wanted no part in the madness going on in front of them! 😂 These two stuck together like a little old married couple, happily pottering along at their own. They were in absolutely no rush whatsoever. One minute we were enjoying ourselves, and the next we were caught in a storm the rain was coming down so heavily that we were all completely soaked to the skin.
Minnie, decided to add one final little surprise to our morning by rolling in poo.
Thankfully, she somehow managed to avoid getting it all through her fur, but unfortunately, her harness wasn’t quite so lucky! 🐾

🐾Thursday’s walkies 🐾

First up was a chilly morning walk with Stanley and Bonnie. It was definitely feeling like proper autumn this morning, but thankfully we found a lovely little sun trap on Stan’s fields, so we made the most of it and followed the sunshine all the way around. ☀️🍂 These two were in their usual sniffy moods, taking their time investigating everything along the way. We bumped into some really friendly dogs while we were out, and Bonnie managed to score herself a treat from one of their owners. Of course, she was absolutely delighted with herself and probably thought that was the highlight of her entire morning! 😂 We had a lovely wander across the fields, taking in all the smells before making our way back through the streets and finishing up at Stan’s house.

Next up were Duchess, Pixie, Felix and Boo, and this group were certainly a little more lively!

Boo and Duchess immediately took off running and chasing each other, and they were having the best time. They really do get on so well, and it was lovely watching them charging around together. Boo was loud as ever together 🙈 she's so embarrassing 🤣 Duchess was having such a great time that she obviously decided the walk needed a little extra excitement and found something to roll in. 🤢😂 she had to have a little washdown afterwards. I’m fairly certain hedgehog poo was the token of choice today. Pixie was the star of the show today, though. I let her off her lead, and she was absolutely amazing. She had a little potter around, explored the area and, most importantly, kept checking in with me and following wherever I went. She even came over for a little stroke, which she didn’t seem to completely hate! 😂❤️ That felt like a really lovely bit of progress from Pixie, and it was so nice seeing her becoming more comfortable and confident. Felix was his usual happy little self, prancing around with his funny little walk and looking like he was having the time of his life. That was until another dog came over, had a good sniff of his bum and then decided to try and mount him. Felix was having absolutely none of it and turned around and told him off! 😂 we even ended up collecting a few extra dogs along the way who decided they fancied joining our little gang for a while. Everyone got along brilliantly once Felix had dealt with his unwanted admirer!

Last up were Willow, Daisy, Poppy and Herbie.

Daisy and Willow came out absolutely guns blazing and were full of energy from the second their paws hit the ground. Willow managed to puff herself out almost straight away, bless her, but that didn’t stop her from joining in with a few little chases throughout the walk. 😂
They all spent plenty of time sniffing around and exploring, with the occasional burst of chasing and playing. Willow and Poppy had a lovely little play together too, which is always so nice to see. They’re very gentle with each other and seem to have such a lovely understanding between them. 🩷 And Herbie was absolutely brilliant today. He did so well keeping up with everyone, especially considering the youngsters were running around all over the place. I even caught him running down a hill at one point, which made me smile. 🥰 It was lovely seeing him having a good time and keeping up with the gang. 🐾

🐾Wednesday’s walkies 🐾

This morning, Stanley, Giorgio, Minnie, and Bonnie joined me. We headed to the fields, and once we arrived, Poppy turned up with her dad and Bobbie, so it was lovely to have some extra friends join us. Poppy was very excited to see us, and Minnie was super excited to see Bobbie. Needless to say, those two spent pretty much the entire walk wrestling with each other! Minnie then stole Bobby’s ball and had her chasing after her instead.
Minnie also spent a little time tormenting Giorgio by chasing his tail, but he completely ignored her and stayed focused on the ball. I must have forgotten to kick it for him a few times because he eventually wandered over to another man and started handing his ball to him to play with. 😂 Stanley was on a serious sniffing mission today. I hardly knew I had him! He was so good and just wanted to say hello to every dog and p*e on every blade of grass. 😂 They were all so well behaved and hopefully absolutely shattered after all the running, chasing and playing.

Next up were Duchess, Pixie, Winston and Felix, and we headed to the beach. I’m so happy the dogs are allowed back on the beach, and these guys seemed absolutely thrilled to be there. Felix was apparently in a running mood today, and I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes! He was absolutely loving it. I think he whipped Pixie into a little bit of a frenzy because she suddenly decided she wanted to run too… which, of course, meant I had to run! 😂 So we had a good sprint along the beach, and everyone was loving it. Duchess and Winston were busy with their usual wrestling matches. These two definitely keep each other entertained and never seem to stop! I also discovered that Felix loves saying hello to every person who walks past. I’m pretty sure he’s looking for treats. Today he managed to get a little bit of cucumber from a man. 😂 Not quite the treat he was expecting, but he happily ate it anyway!
Pixie was very funny today too. She told Duchess off, and Duchess obviously took it as a sign it was playtime. Pixie’s response was basically, “No. Get lost.” 😂 Then Duchess appeared with a dead seagull in her mouth, looking as proud as can be. 😳 I had to get her on the lead and take her as far away from it as possible! Winston was an absolute angel. His recall was definitely 10/10 today, just like it has been all week. ⭐️ They all had such a brilliant time playing on the beach and were so lovely with the other dogs we passed.

Then it was Ruby, Benny, Boo and Bonnie, and we headed back to the fields.

I tried Ruby off her lead, but she wasn’t having any of it today. She didn’t really want to walk, so she went back on the lead with a little bit of coaxing and managed to complete the hour. I think I may have even gone over time because we kept bumping into people, stopping for chats, and everyone was fussing over the dogs which Boo absolutely loved! 😂
She was straight onto her back getting her belly rubbed, which also gave me plenty of time to pick off all the sticky balls she’s managed to collect over the past week. 😂 Benny was such a loving boy today. He kept rubbing his nose against me and asking for lots of cuddles. He really is such a sweetie. ❤️ Then Reggie appeared, and Boo, Benny and Reggie proceeded to go 100 miles an hour around the fields chasing one another! Reggie’s man was absolutely delighted to see us because she knew we were going to tire him out. 😂

Another brilliant day with the gang. 🐾

🐾Tuesday’s walkies 🐾

First up was a morning walk with Bonnie and Stanley on Stan’s Fields. It started off as such a lovely, fresh autumn morning, but before I knew it, the rain had arrived! Bonnie definitely wasn’t impressed, and neither was I, especially as Stanley had just had his groom and I didn’t want him getting soaked. At least his mam can get a little bit of enjoyment out of his fresh groom! 😂I had to stop Stanley from rolling, as you could tell he desperately wanted to find something stinky to cover himself in. Luckily, I won that battle! 😂

Next up were Felix, Winston, Pixie and Duchess. We headed to the fields, and today I parked inside, so the dogs could jump straight out with no leads. They absolutely loved that and all took off immediately to do their business. A man walked past with his dog on a lead, and they all had a little look, but nobody went over. Their recall was brilliant, especially Winston, who I could tell really wanted to go and say hello! 😂 We met lots of friendly dogs along the way, and I discovered that Pixie is actually quite vocal when a new dog passes us! 😂 She was giving out some serious boss energy today, warning all the other dogs. I let her go over for a little sniff, and suddenly she turned back into a little mouse again. 😂
She also let me stroke her again today, so we’re definitely making small steps. It will be interesting to see what she’s like when Bronia has her back and whether she still comes over to say hello to me! Winston and Duchess were non stop playing and wrestling. Duchess is one rough girl, but I think Winston secretly loves it! They certainly did plenty of running around and should have been exhausted afterwards.
Meanwhile, Felix was doing his little run and jumping again today. I even managed to catch him running at one point! He has the cutest little walk, with a proper prance in his step. 🥰

Next up were Thunder, Benny, Boo and Herbie.

Boo came out with all guns blazing, wanting to play, play, play, but Benny made her wait until halfway through the walk before she finally got her way! 😂
Thunder was leading the walk and was very well behaved. When I said”treat time” he come straight over, and he was first in the queue alongside Herbie! 😂
Everyone got along brilliantly, and it was so funny watching Boo trying her hardest to get Thunder to play chase. At first, I thought he was going to join in, but instead he turned around and told her off! 😂 Benny, meanwhile, was completely oblivious, happily doing his super rolls in the grass. He was looking rather green by the end, so he did need a little wash! 😂
And finally, Herbie bless him. He attempted to jump over a log and didn’t quite manage it. He just stood there completely frozen, so I had to lift his back feet over for him. 😂

Another busy day of walkies with this lovely bunch! 🐾

🐾Monday’s walkies 🐾

First walk with Felix, Minnie, Stanley and Bonnie. We headed to the fields, where there were loads of dogs there ready to say hello to us. Felix was definitely the star of the show though. Everyone wanted to sniff him and say hello first! He then took off across the field looking like he was doing a hop, skip and a jump, with Stanley right behind him doing exactly the same. They were so cute! 🥰
Minnie had her friend Bobbie on the field, so they spent pretty much the entire walk ragging each other all over. It’s their favourite thing to do 🙈stealing the ball from one another, chasing each other and generally causing chaos. 😂 Then our friend Obi came onto the field, spotted Stanley from about half a mile away and sprinted straight over to him. They had a little tussle which got slightly out of hand, but it’s all love between those two boys. 🤣 Bonnie and Felix enjoyed walking together at a slightly slower pace, bless them. Felix fitted in absolutely lovely and seemed very happy with his new friends. 🥰

Next up was Winston, Pixie, Duchess, Benny and Herbie.

I kept Pixie on her lead today as she’s still a little nervous of me, but when I went into the house to get her, I called her name and she came straight to the top of the stairs and let me put her harness on with no problem. She also let me stroke her on the walk, and was always happy to take a treat and certainly kept the pace. That girl can walk! 😂 Poor Herbie was struggling to keep up with us. she’ll learn to love me eventually! 😂❤️ Winston was such a good boy today. I completely forgot that I’m not supposed to walk Winston and Herbie together, and when I put Herbie in the van, Winston’s eyes lit up with excitement because, as we all know, he likes to hump him. 🤦‍♀️😂 But he was actually brilliant! He mostly just walked along, had the occasional sniff and little ear lick, and left Herbie alone for the majority of the walk. I was so happy! I think Winston might finally be growing up and has had enough of that silly business… I hope! 😂 Duchess was absolutely ragging Winston all over the place, bless him. I wasn’t quite sure whether he was enjoying it, so I held him by his lead and, as soon as I did, she left him alone. I only let her play with him when he wanted to, because she’s a little bit rough! 😂 She was good as gold though. Excellent recall from Bronia’s dogs again today, and they all gave me such a lovely welcome when I went into their homes. ❤️ Benny was my good boy as always and was super nice about sharing me with everyone. He does love me the most, obviously, and always stays right by my side. And of course, the Herbster kept up really well because Pixie was walking at 100mph today! We still made sure to wait for him though.
Everybody was complete greedy guts today and between them they finished my entire packet of treats! 😂🐾

🐾Friday’s walkies 🐾

Today I was joined by Alfie, Minnie, Bonnie and Duchess. Duchess is joining us for the next two weeks while Bonnie is on holiday, and Minnie was absolutely delighted with the news! She showed Duchess just how much she loved her by spending the entire walk chasing and playing with her. 🩷 These two were hilarious. At one point, Duchess was quite literally sitting on Minnie’s head! Poor little Alfie didn’t get much of a look-in. He’s usually Minnie’s main playmate, but today she completely ditched him for Duchess. Eventually, he plucked up the courage to join the girls, although I think they might have been a little too rough for him! 😂
Minnie and Duchess are both notorious poo rollers, so I was on high alert today. Thankfully, neither managed to actually roll in anything, despite Minnie making several attempts! Bonnie, meanwhile, watched them fighting and playing nonstop in complete and utter horror. She definitely wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. 😂 We were also joined by Alfie’s mam today, which was so lovely. It was great to catch up while the dogs enjoyed their walk. We passed lots of other dogs along the way and everyone was super friendly. Alfie can sometimes be a little bit naughty, but he was on his absolute best behaviour today, clearly showing off for his mam! 😇
We even met a lovely man who handed out treats to all the dogs. Bonnie especially did not want him to leave! He even had sweeties for me and Alfie’s mam. 🥰

A lovely way to finish the week. I hope everyone has a great weekend, whatever you’re getting up to! 🐾
