Over the last couple of months I’ve been trying to find an appropriate home boarder for my sausages so we could finally book an abroad holiday 🐾✈️

Honestly, I’ve found it really difficult. A lot of the people I’ve spoken to seem to want maximum money for minimum effort, without even really wanting to understand my babies’ individual needs, and asking ridiculous questions about how many dogs they can be walked with and can they be left all day?!

As many of you know, I board some of my own client dogs here at home, and I know the level of love, care, patience and attention I personally give them. Because of that, I think my standards are probably very high — but my sausages are family, so I have to have absolute faith and trust in anyone caring for them. Also must drive for Lillys medical appts or emergencies.

They’re actually very easy little dogs day-to-day, however they do have specific medical needs, routines and personalities that need understanding properly ❤️

If anyone has any personal recommendations for exceptional home boarders that you genuinely trust and would leave your own babies with, please let me know 🥰

Everyone welcome Hagrid ✨
Hagrid came in needing an EXTREME makeover and oh my goodness… just look how handsome this boy is now 😍
Under all that coat was the sweetest little face waiting to shine through! These transformations always make me so happy because not only do the dogs look amazing afterwards, they feel so much more comfortable too ❤️
Safe to say Hagrid was an absolute star for his pamper session and completely stole my heart along the way 🥰
What a difference handsome boy ✂️✨

Ty ❤️
Some dogs come into your life and leave paw prints that stay forever.
I’ve had the absolute privilege of grooming beautiful Ty for 9 years and he truly means so much to me.
Watching our little clients grow older is one of the hardest parts of loving this job so deeply, and right now Ty needs all the love, strength and gentle thoughts possible.
He has always been such a sweet, special little soul and I know how loved he is by his amazing family. Sending all my love to you all and hoping Ty feels wrapped in comfort and love every single moment ❤️
You’ve got a whole Pampered Paws family behind you little man ✨

Mabel 💖
As a baby, Mabel stayed super fluffy all the time 🥹 But now she’s grown into a big girl, we need to keep her coat more practical and easy to manage at home ✂️
Mabel isn’t too convinced about mummy doing the brushing in between appointments 🤣 so a shorter, tidy style helps keep her comfy, happy and mat free — and she still looks absolutely FABULOUS 😍
Such a sweet girl and always a pleasure to spend time with 💕

Bailey is here on his holidays and we are having soooo much fun! 🥰
Our early morning walks are my favourite time! Bailey runs, swims and has the BEST time ever! You’ll notice the sausages aren’t on these walks because they absolutely do NOT do mornings 🤣🤣
Bailey also has some seriously impressive skills… including holding THREE soft toys in his mouth all at the same time… honestly epic 🤣❤️
So glad I still have another couple of days with this precious boy 🐾

The dogs that made me who I am ❤️

You all know my sausage babies now… but before Lilly and Fergus, there were the paws that shaped my entire life and the reason Pampered Paws even exists today.

My journey started at just 6 years old with Tess, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. No dog could ever have started my love affair with dogs more perfectly than Tess. She was pure heart. Pure kindness. A solid little angel who taught me what unconditional love truly looked like.

Then came Jazz… my dream dog. Anyone who knows me knows the love I have always had for the German Shepherd breed. Jazz gave teenage me everything I needed — safety, security, adventure, loyalty and endless walks. Her intelligence was only ever matched by her beauty, and she left paw prints on my heart that will never fade.

Losing Jazz broke me, and for a while I stepped away from dogs completely… until Louis Vuitton needed someone.

Louis Vuitton came into my life as a deeply troubled rescue. He needed structure, patience, boundaries, safety and so much love. Over two years we worked through the trauma together, and watching him slowly learn to trust the world again was one of the greatest privileges of my life. The frightened little dog I first met became the happiest, funniest and most confident little chap imaginable, and he gave me the most wonderful 13 years. Considering the abuse he suffered before, the way he chose love and trust in the end is a true testament to him.
And after Louis Vuitton joined Tess and Jazz over the rainbow bridge… Fergus needed me 🥰
Without these paws, I would not be the person I am today, and I certainly would not be doing the job I love so much every single day🥰

Hi everyone ❤️

I just wanted to pop a little update on here regarding photos and social media posts.
As many of you know, I absolutely LOVE photographing your gorgeous pups and sharing them all with you. Watching all of your fur babies become part of the Pampered Paws family over the years has honestly meant the world to me 🐾

However, with the salon being busier than ever, I’ve realised the amount of admin involved in individually editing, creating backgrounds, writing posts and uploading every dog is becoming incredibly time consuming alongside long grooming days.

Going forward, I’m going to be reducing daily dog posts on social media so I can focus more of my time and energy on the dogs in my care during the day — and also reclaim a little bit of evening time for myself and my own animals ❤️

I’ll still absolutely be taking the occasional photos and sharing special moments, and I’m always more than happy to send private photos directly to owners if you would like one after your dog’s groom 🥰

Thank you all so much for always supporting my little business and loving the pups as much as I do.

Bailey — the beautiful matriarch of the family and every inch the queen she knows she is 👑 Calm, elegant and the heart of the gang.

Roxy spreads love absolutely everywhere she goes. Watching her work as a therapy dog and bring comfort and happiness to so many people is just incredible — there truly can’t be a better therapy dog on the planet 💕

And Neo… the highly trained protection dog keeping everyone safe and sound, whilst also being one of the most loving, loyal boys to his family and friends ❤️
