Thank you so much for your recommendation 🐶🫶🏼💙

The Joy of Running Free.

We ask a lot of our dogs. Every day they have to live in a human world, and act in a way that humans want them to act.

A recent news story highlighted the growing popularity of secure dog walking fields, and it’s a great reminder of just how important safe spaces are for our four-legged friends.

Spaces for dogs to run off-lead and just be dogs are few and far between, and only decreasing.

Not every dog behaves their best on a lead, and not every dog feels comfortable in busy public spaces.

Outdoor, natural daycares like Playschool provide opportunities for appropriate social interaction, play, enrichment and learning. A space for dogs to behave naturally and let their hair down, all with supervision and support in a managed environment.

Secure dog fields are on the rise. They offer a different kind of freedom; somewhere dogs can run, sniff, explore and enjoy off-lead time in an enclosed space. They can be especially helpful for owners of dogs who need a little more space, are working on their recall, or simply prefer a quieter environment.

Tails & Trails just outside Nailsworth is a fantastic example of a secure field created by a woman who understands that sometimes you want to take your dog out, but leave your stress at home! Somewhere you can let your dog off the lead and watch them be a dog, without the worry of them spotting a deer and never coming back! Away from the crowds, this important space is particularly beneficial for recent rescues and dogs with noise-related struggles.

Both have an important place in helping our dogs enjoy happy, fulfilling lives.

Because happy dogs need more than just a walk; they need opportunities to sniff, explore, play, learn and simply be dogs.

Thank you Kate for your lovely review and suggestion 🥰🐶💙👍

This location is truly wonderful for exercising our two energetic dogs. There is ample room for them to run, explore scents, discover logs to jump on, or simply wander through the wooded areas. I often find myself wanting to stay longer than i should. It's an excellent space for a relaxed walk, especially for dogs who benefit from extra off-leash room without the presence of other dogs that might make them anxious.
If they did a monthly subscription I would sign up for a walk a week in the field.
