Here is a round up of what we were up to in July. 🐱
We currently have 23 cats in our care including 11 kittens and there are more cats on our waitlist that need our help once some more adoptions have taken place.
July was a good month for adoptions and 11 cats and 10 kittens left us to go to their new families. 😻
Sadly, adoptions are now a bit slow, but will hopefully pick up again once people come back from their holidays. 🤞
We had 7 cats and 5 kittens come into our care in July, and as is often the case, the reasons for relinquishment were unwanted litters, strays - (including 1 pregnant female who had been involved in a RTA), multi-cat households and owners' ill health. 😿
Stray cat activity continues to be busy, and we are sadly still seeing so many cats that aren't chipped despite it being a legal requirement.
We continue to have our regular stall in The Shambles Market, Stroud on Fridays and Saturdays, and will be attending a number of local outside events. This brings in much needed revenue for the branch and raises our profile across our area.
The branch is entirely voluntary run, so a massive "thank you" to all of our dedicated volunteers. 🙏
