One study found that a lack of fly protection cost a 120-cow dairy herd £8,400 in growth losses over 10 weeks [1].

Another study found an average milk yield drop of 7% per cow in a 120-cow herd, resulting in almost £1,617 of lost milk revenue over 10 weeks when just 50% of the herd was affected [2].

Summer mastitis costs on average £386 per case in lost production and treatment [3].

The fact is, failing to control flies can lead to significant financial losses, not to mention welfare issues for your cattle.
