It looks like ticks are not sleeping. As a groomer I can see more of them this year than last year this time around.

Your dog can pick up a tick almost anywhere outdoors, but they are most commonly found in woodlands, tall grasslands, and the brushy edges of lawns even on the fields and playgrounds.

Ticks usually latch onto areas where a dog’s skin is thinner, warmer, and protected from scratching. The most common spots to check are the head, neck, ears, armpits, groin, and between the toes.

Please don’t rely on the tick treatment (spot on, tablets, spray, collar etc) fully as these don’t protect your dog from the ticks in 100%.

Check your dog regularly ‼️
