❓️WHO ARE WE❓️
Apparently we need to introduce ourselves 😂
We’ve had loads of lovely new customers lately, so thought we’d better introduce ourselves properly… especially considering 13 years in, there are still customers who don’t know which one of us is which and some who are only just finding out there are actually TWO of us 😂
We’re Melissa & Michaela, identical twins and the two behind Lola’s Dog Grooming 👯♀️🐶
To be fair, we don’t make it easy. We look alike, sound alike and our personalities are basically the same. One of us can have a full conversation with you, then 6 weeks later you’ll carry it on with the other one while we stand nodding along thinking I have absolutely no idea what this woman is talking about 🤣
And yes, in the old photo Melissa looks like she’s about to pull Michaela's hair 😂 Which is probably the most accurate introduction to us you’ll get. Best pals, identical twins, work together every day… but still sisters, so obviously we annoy the life out of each other regularly!
We’ve both been completely dog daft our whole lives. We’ll happily stop the car to speak to a dog, but if we spot someone we know in Tesco, suddenly we’ve remembered something VERY important in the next aisle 🤣
We can remember your dog’s name, haircut and whole personality… but your name? You might just be “Cooper’s mum” forever 🤷♀️ And if we ever blank you outside work, we genuinely might not recognise you without your dog attached to you 😂
Also, neither of us is called Lola 🤣
Lola was our gorgeous wee Westie who the business was named after. She sadly passed away a few years ago at 16½ ❤️ but she’ll always be a huge part of Lola’s.
So to all our newbies, hello and welcome ❤️
