Allandoo Pheasantry

31/08/2026

We have not been able to send or receive any emails this evening, apparently microsoft are having problems. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly but we can still be reached via messenger or by phone. Our phone number is 01776 870244.
I do have a mobile number as well as a gmail account which I will post on here if the problem is not sorted within the next day or two but they will only be for short term use.
Hopefully we'll be back to normal service very soon.

Are there any couriers out there happy to deliver birds for us? We are in Stranraer in Dumfries and Galloway and regularly have birds needing delivered throughout Britain. The courier we have been using for the past couple of years has decided to stop so if there's anyone keen to drive pheasants all over the place please get in touch.

Apparently we are doing something "Meta" doesn't like. Not sure what but they've stopped recommending our page. They did this for a month I think and then only just started recommending Allandoo Pheasantry when I got an email again saying we are not following their guidelines so they are stopping once more. Since I have not had time to add much in the way of posts on here during the last couple of years I can't think what I have did wrong. If anyone can enlighten me please feel free to do so as facebook don't seem capable of any kind of non robotic feedback.

In the meantime I hope you have all had a great spring and are looking forward to either an exciting or a wonderfully relaxing summer. Either way enjoy it and thanks for looking at our page.

Here's a wee Reeves' chick for you:

At this time of year, as we enjoy our time with our family and the birds are in "rest mode" for a short while, it's so nice to stop and just appreciate what we have. Both Alan and I are aware of how lucky we are to do a job we love and this is only possible because we have so many wonderful customers.

We are extremely grateful for all your support over the years and we will continue to strive not only to keep our birds thriving but also to deliver the best service and quality birds we can to all of you.

In the meantime we thank you and wish you all a Christmas and New Year filled with love, happiness, hope and wonder.

And as we turn another page in life's storybook we're onto another new chapter.
One from which springs an abundance of hope with days stretching and growth happening all around us from the earliest buds expanding to the explosion on the senses as the year progresses.

Happy new year to you all, may it be full of inspiration, good cheer and many accomplishments.
