Stowe Veterinary Group is an independent practice that has been providing a caring and professional service for all domestic pets, horses and farm animals for more than 50 years. The group comprises three large surgical practices – Stowe Veterinary Centre in Stowmarket, Moreto

n Hall Veterinary Centre in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich Veterinary Centre in Ipswich, as well as two smaller local practices, The Mustard Pot Veterinary Surgery in Needham Market and The Old Tea Room Veterinary Surgery in Elmswell. Our three larger surgeries stock a good range of pet products through our in-house shop Pets Place. We are proud to have high standards and do not compromise on these standards of care for the health and welfare of the pets we treat, under any circumstances. We are also proud to have remained independent of the national companies in order to maintain our core principles of being caring, friendly and reasonably priced, whilst providing the highest standards of veterinary medicine and surgery and preventative health care. Our team are animal lovers who are passionate about their work. We take pride in getting to know our clients and their pets and are always happy to give informal advice, either in person or over the telephone. The wellbeing of our patients is at the centre of what we do; this means we will treat your pets as if they were our own.

🐾 Meet Steve! 🐾

10-year-old Steve recently visited our branch surgery, The Mustard Pot, for support with some arthritic problems.

He was an absolute superstar during his visit and behaved like the perfect gentleman from start to finish! ❤️ Our reception team made sure he felt right at home, spending time sitting on the floor with him, giving him plenty of cuddles, and of course, a biscuit or two for being such a good boy. 🦴

🐾 Meet Archie! 🐾

Archie recently visited our branch surgery, The Mustard Pot, as he's been experiencing some arthritic problems.

To help pets feel comfortable while they wait, we have a rubber mat in reception that provides extra grip and stability. It made a big difference for Archie, helping him stay steady on his feet and preventing any slips on the floor.

While he patiently waited for his appointment, our lovely reception team made sure he received plenty of cuddles and a few tasty biscuits too! ❤️

We love finding little ways to make visits easier and more comfortable for our patients. Well done, Archie – you were a superstar! ⭐🐶

Little Ralph recently visited us for his very first vaccinations 🐾

Our lovely receptionist Sharon made sure to give him plenty of cuddles and reassurance while he was here 💛✨ He was such a brave boy during his appointment and it was an absolute pleasure to meet him.

First vaccinations are such an important part of protecting puppies and kittens as they grow. They help build immunity against serious and potentially life-threatening diseases, giving your new pet the best possible start in life. Vaccinations also play an important role in keeping other pets safe too, especially before your puppy or kitten begins exploring the world and socialising with others 🐶🐱

During the warm weather, it’s important to help your cat stay cool and comfortable!

We had a fantastic time at Suffolk Show last week, where we were visited by pet owners from across the county. The team loved meeting your pets and sharing animal advice.

The dogs enjoyed a refreshing dip in our paddling pool, while our younger visitors tested their steady hand on our operation game.
