Good morning everyone, we’ve assessed the conditions this morning, the park is getting absolutely battered by wind, we’ve got falling branches and a keeper has already been hit (but is ok)
We’d have cancelled the bird show anyway as we can’t fly in this.
If you’ve got tickets for today, we are emailing you all!
Sorry for inconvenience but safety of our team, animals and visitors is priority no matter what.

Boo at the Zoo 2026 OPENS ON THURSDAY!

We return once more with our spectacular Halloween event, featuring an ALL NEW stage show this year (with the exception of our much-loved traditional grand finale!).

Your ticket includes:

🕷️ Our brand new SPOOKTACULAR stage show, packed with new routines, music and magic before three mischievous witches may just interrupt the finale…

🦉 Owls by Moonlight – our breathtaking after-dark owl flying display, featuring our bird display team flying these incredible birds through the darkness.

🎃 Access to all of our Halloween walk-through experiences, where you’ll meet pirates, mummies, haunted farmers and the forest ghouls.

🍭Trick or treating around the zoo

Session Times
🎟️ 4:30pm Session
Designed with younger families in mind. There will still be spooky moments and jump scares, but our actors will keep things a little tamer.

🎟️ 7:30pm Session
For those wanting a bigger Halloween experience! As darkness falls, we turn the atmosphere up a notch with more surprises and stronger jump scares throughout the evening.

Both sessions are designed to be family-friendly, and we operate a strict no blood, gore or extreme frights policy. Our aim is to create a fun, immersive Halloween experience that’s spooky, funny, exciting and memorable!

👻A few things to note👻

Our main stage show at both sessions contains a sprinkling of pantomime-style innuendo and cheeky adult humour. It’s all very much in the spirit of Halloween, with jokes that will mostly go straight over the little ones’ heads while giving the grown-ups a laugh.
If you’re easily offended or completely allergic to silly humour and a bit of innuendo, this may not be the show for you!

Jump scares are part of the experience throughout the evening, although they are much gentler during the earlier session.

♿️ Due to the nature of the event and some of the themed walkthrough areas, accessibility for wheelchairs and pushchairs is unfortunately limited.

BOO AT THE ZOO is fast approaching!
Please note we are CLOSED on Monday the 19th as the spooky shift move on to the park to start installing lighting and sets, building mazes and overhauling our theatre ready for our spooktacular show!
