Heatwave Update:

This week alone has seen me doing extra welfare visits with pets because of the heatwave. I am doing them today as well.

Please make sure you use the FREE Checklist in preparation for leaving your home and ENSURE YOUR PET CARRIER is available should your pets take ill! EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION should also be up to date and ready to hand either sent to me or in the house.

Everyone’s homes is now hitting 28/29 degrees even with fans, shut blinds and tbh only aircon is helping to make it cooler tbh. A cool pad can also help the little furry friends such as cats dogs and hamsters 🐹. ALL PETS Stonehouse had some in stock just the other day.

Even Ive been struggling in the heat and felt pretty unwell at the end of each day - this heat has not been pleasant at all. So I hope you’re all able to keep as cool as you can as well.

💛Keep kitties in today especially during the peak heat.

💚Have a cool pad or damp towel for them to lie on and don’t forget to have plenty of cool water.

💛An ice cube or two in a bowl will help keep them refreshed

💚 Pop foods and treats in the fridge to keep them chilled 😎
