June is NATIONAL MICROCHIPPING MONTH

Run by the Royal Kennel Club and Petlog UK, the hope is to raise awareness of the law surrounding chipping, and the benefits of a chip.

According to the Blue Cross UK, 74% of lost or stolen dogs were reunited with their owners thanks to their microchips.

❗ BUT ❗

around 72% of chips have the incorrect information on!

By law...
🐾 Your dog must be chipped by 8 weeks of age
🐾 Your dog must be registered on a government approved database
🐾 Your details must be kept up to date
🐾 Your dog must still wear a collar and ID tag when out in a public place

Not complying can result in a £500 fine, or worse your dog not being returned to you should they be missing or stolen - and nobody wants that. So...
