Family-run stud at the foot of the Cleveland Hills offering stallions at stud, foaling down livery, and specialising in mare & foal nursing and neonatal support.

Groomed at shows such as HOYS, GYS, RIHS, Royal Highland, and Showjumping development and classic shows, as well as British events. Member of the regional BYRDS B Squad. Been riding for 18 years, competed in showjumping, eventing, showing and currently a member of the Regional BYRDS B squad. Can travel to suit. Competitive rates, with a friendly service guaranteed. 🐴 Albarosa Stud is pleased to now offer specialist Mare & Foal Nursing & Neonatal Support alongside our existing stud services and lessons.

With years of hands-on experience in foaling, orphan foal rearing, mare rejection management, and neonatal foal care, we are now expanding our focus to provide dedicated support for mares and foals requiring additional care during the early stages of life.

Services include:
• Orphan foal rearing
• Mare rejection and re-bonding support
• Weak foal monitoring and supportive nursing
• Post-foaling and post-veterinary discharge support
• Early neonatal mare & foal management

Our aim is to provide a calm, structured and experienced environment with limited capacity to ensure each mare and foal receives appropriate individual care and attention.

A rare stable will be coming available for schooling, holiday, competition or fitness livery from 1st June 2026.

We currently have 1 ridden livery space available from Thursday 7th November 2024.

Extra large (18ftx14ft) stables in own private barn separate to stud stables with use of own stocks and cross tie area.
Private turnout paddocks
All weather turnout paddocks for bad days
25x40 Outdoor arena with mirrors, lights and jumps
Miles of hacking (on and off road) straight from our yard
