A Polework Clinic raising funds for Retraining of Racehorses.
We’re putting the fun into fundraising! 💕
Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable polework clinic, celebrating the amazing versatility of the Thoroughbred and the journey from racehorse to riding horse.
Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October 2026.
(Aimed at Thoroughbreds but open to all)
Retraining of Racehorses is a cause that is particularly close to our hearts. Having spent many years working with and retraining ex-racehorses, we know first-hand just how much potential these horses have once their racing careers come to an end. With the right training, patience and understanding, they can go on to enjoy incredibly successful second careers — whether that’s dressage, eventing, showjumping, hacking or simply being someone's much-loved horse.
This clinic is part of our fundraising efforts for the Manchester Marathon, where we’ll be running for RoR and helping support the charity's fantastic work giving former racehorses the opportunity to thrive in their second careers.
🐎 What to expect:
✨ Fun and progressive polework exercises
✨ Suitable for a range of abilities
✨ A focus on improving rhythm, balance, confidence and suppleness
✨ Plenty of tips and exercises to take home and use in your own schooling
✨ A relaxed, friendly atmosphere
✨ And, of course… CAKE! 🍰
£30 for private 1 hour session or £15 per person for shared (2 or 3 people) 1 hour session. There will be same ability groups, please let us know what you are happy doing at the time of booking.
£10 from every booking will be donated directly to RoR, so by coming along you're not only treating yourself and your horse to a great schooling session, you're also helping support a cause that means so much to us.
And if riding isn't your thing, don't worry — we'll also have plenty of homemade cakes available to buy, so you can still get involved and help us raise as much as possible!
