She sells seashells by the seashore! I love these mixed media paintings, so I have framed them for some affordable art on my upcoming art stall.

Biddulph Town Hall is hosting the annual CATE (Craft, Art & Textile Event) on Saturday, 27th June 2026. The daytime fair runs from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and features handmade crafts, exhibitions, demonstrations, tea, and homemade cakes, with free entry.

I am excited to be sharing my work, and as there is a pet portrait artist in attendance I am concentrating on urban sketches and more abstract pieces.

Just back from a lovely relaxing cruise.

We sailed from Tilbury, and I was amazed at how many ring necked parakeets we saw down south.

The tropical weather we are experiencing at the moment makes this watercolour feel very appropriate.

The Jacoranda trees are amazing and the pastel de nata were delicious.

The sketchbook page with collage was actually done last year. This time there didn't seem to be any time for sketching, but lots of photos.

A beautiful day in Brest France today.

A sketch of the Tanguy Tower in the old town. Most of the city was destroyed in the 2nd world war so very little history remains.

St Mary's on the Scilly Isles is the first stop on our Cruise.

And what a stop! The weather is stunning and the town is beautiful. We stopped for a coffee and I sketched the Parish Church of Mary the Virgin.
