Congratulations from the Team at Harrison Family Vets to Georgie👏🏻🩷

Georgie has been visiting our Veterinary Nurses Dan and Hannah to support her with her weight loss journey!🩺

Georgie has lost an incredible 1.5kgs, starting at 10.5kg she now weighs 9kg!🐶

Obesity can cause serious health problems including adding extra pressure on joints, making breathing more difficult (especially in Brachycephalic breeds) and it can also make anaesthetics more risky from the increased pressure on the lungs when breathing!🐾

We are so very proud of you for reaching your target weight!🩷

Sully was given the all clear from Nurse Hannah and signed off from his castration🥰

Spend the day with Milo for his suprelorin implant🐾🩷

An implant called suprelorin can be placed as an alternative to surgical castration if our team feels this would be the best option and appropriate for your pet🐾

Milo was supported by oxygen whilst he was sedated and monitored closely by Veterinary Nurse Hannah!🩺

Milo was a super brave boy for his implant and had the waggiest of tails afterwards🥰
