We have sadly had a deceased cat brought into practice today. He is a male, entire, black cat, is not microchipped and was not wearing a collar. He was found on the A34 near the Premier Inn.

It’s set to be a warm one this Bank Holiday weekend! While many of us (and our dogs!) might enjoy the sunshine, it’s important to remember how serious heatstroke in dogs can be.
☀️ Dogs can struggle to regulate their body temperature, even if they seem happy and playful in the heat.
👉 Please take extra care:

Avoid walks during the hottest part of the day
Make sure fresh water and shade are always available
Never leave dogs in cars, even for a short time
Watch for signs of heatstroke (excessive panting, drooling, lethargy)

💛 A little awareness goes a long way in keeping our pets safe and happy this weekend
Stay cool and enjoy the sunshine responsibly! 🐶✨
