🐾 A tale of two very good pooches today! 🐾

Today I had the pleasure of grooming the lovely Jess the German Shepherd and Ted the Cocker Spaniel. 🥰

It was Jess’s very first time coming to me, and I honestly couldn't have been more impressed with her! She was absolutely amazing from start to finish and settled in so well. ❤️🐕

And of course, Ted was a very good boy too and enjoyed his pamper! 🐾✂️

I loved having these two gorgeous dogs in the salon today. Thank you, Jess and Ted, for being such lovely cuties! 🥰

🐾 Meet the gorgeous Ginny! 🐾

Ginny, the lovely Parsons Jack Russell Terrier, popped in for a nail clip and a little introduction to some of the grooming equipment. 🛁✂️🐶

She was an absolute little character and definitely kept me entertained! 😂 Every time I put the nail clippers down, Ginny decided they were hers and kept trying to steal them! Apparently, she had her own ideas about how her nail appointment should go. 🤣✂️

Alongside having her nails trimmed, we spent some time helping Ginny get used to the sights, sounds and equipment she may come across during grooming sessions. Taking things slowly and making the experience positive can really help dogs feel more comfortable and confident. ❤️
She was such a cheeky little girl with bags of personality, and I absolutely loved having her in the salon! 🥰

🍂🎃 Autumn has arrived at Harper Street! 🎃🍂

Our little corner of Middleport Pottery has had a full autumn makeover, and I am absolutely in love with it! 🧡💜🍁

From the gorgeous autumn colours spilling out of our floral display to the pumpkins, toadstools and falling leaves decorating the window, the whole shop and street are looking beautifully autumnal. 🍂✨

A huge thank you to Mia & Clare from Betty & Grace for creating and painting our gorgeous autumn window display and autumn floral display. They have captured the season perfectly! 🎨🧡

I absolutely love how colourful and welcoming everything looks and hope it brings a little autumn cheer to everyone passing by. 🥰

🐾💕 Mushy Pea came in today for her pamper session! 💕🐾

Mushy Pea is now becoming a regular here and it has been so lovely getting to know her 🥰 She is absolutely full of love, licks and cuddles and always brings plenty of personality with her!

She is slowly getting more used to the grooming process and is making lovely progress each time she visits. The dryer definitely isn't her favourite part just yet 🙈😂 but we’re taking everything at her pace and helping her to build her confidence little by little.

I’m so proud of how far she’s coming, and I always love having this gorgeous girl in for her pamper sessions ❤️🐶

How gorgeous does the salon look?! Our window has had a fabulous autumn makeover, complete with beautiful falling leaves, pumpkins and the cutest little toadstool! 🧡

A huge thank you to the incredibly talented Mia from Betty and Grace Crafty Circle Workshop & Giftware who designed and hand-painted this amazing display for me. She has done such a fantastic job and I absolutely love it! 😍

My grooming tools had some much-needed TLC and are now freshly sharpened and ready to go! 🐾

Keeping my scissors and clipper blades professionally sharpened and maintained is really important. Sharp, well-maintained tools help me work accurately and efficiently while also ensuring a smoother, more comfortable groom for your dogs. 🐶💗

There’s nothing quite like that feeling of freshly sharpened scissors! 😍✂️

What a gorgeous girl! 🐾💗

This beautiful British Bulldog Jess came in today for her first Mini Groom with me, and what a little character she was! 🥰

She was so full of love and had the sweetest personality. She was an absolute pleasure to groom and such a well-behaved girl throughout.

I absolutely loved meeting this gorgeous girl. She was such a sweetheart and a total superstar! ⭐️🐶

There’s something so satisfying about seeing the difference a good scissor trim can make! 😍

This little comparison shows one leg and foot that has been freshly scissored alongside the other that has six weeks of growth.
You can really see just how much the coat grows in that time and how much shape and definition you can create with a groom. ✂️✨

I absolutely love seeing those neat little feet and beautifully shaped legs come together. It’s one of those small details that makes such a BIG difference to the finished groom! 💕

And yes… I couldn’t resist taking a photo because the difference was just too satisfying not to share! 😂

Billy is a gorgeous little Chihuahua × Cairn Terrier with a big personality packed into a very small package! 😍💙

Today was Billy’s first Mini Groom with me, and what a little superstar he was! ⭐️

He took everything in his stride and was such a good boy throughout his pamper.
His Mini Groom has left him feeling fresh and ready to show off that fabulous little face! 🥰

Well done, Billy, you were an absolute pleasure to groom! 💙🐾
