After a week full of hellos, new neighbours, new faces and lots of new woofits through the Groomies door, today came a bittersweet goodbye 😭💔

Teddy has been one of my longest-standing furry clients and today was his very last Groomies groom before he heads off on a new adventure to North Wales 🥹🐾

It’s one of those parts of this job you don’t really think about. You spend years getting to know these little faces, their quirks, their favourite things (and the things they absolutely WILL NOT tolerate 😂), and they become such a lovely little part of your life... I’m going to miss this gorgeous boy so much, but I hope North Wales is ready for him! 🥹❤️

Well… that’s everything officially moved into the new salon! 🥹🩷
Tomorrow is decorating day… which basically means I’ll spend tonight overthinking where absolutely EVERYTHING should go, then get Mike to build it, move it, rebuild it and probably move it again 🤣🙈
Lois & Milana gave the new bath a very thorough test today though and I’m pleased to confirm… it’s been approved! 😂🛁

🚨 WARNING: DANGEROUS LEVELS OF CUTENESS AHEAD 🚨
I recently had the very difficult job of giving 10 gorgeous little puppies their first ever baths… and quite frankly, no one is ready for this amount of cute. 😭🐶🛁
Their gorgeous mum is one of my regular Groomies clients 🥰 Although considering she is WHITE and this little gang are mostly BLACK… you’d never guess she had anything to do with them 😂😂
Ten tiny pups, ten first baths, approximately 7,000 cuddles and absolutely ZERO temptation to sneak one into my pocket and take it home… 👀

Okay... That last bit might be a lie. 🤣❤️
Getting puppies used to bathing, handling and all the weird and wonderful sights and sounds of grooming while they're little is such a lovely start for them. 🐾
Now brace yourselves… THE PUPPIES! 😍😍😍

This is a post I've been both excited and emotional to write...

After three amazing years, Groomies at Salthouse is moving to a brand-new salon! 🐾

Starting Groomies inside Salthouse Pet Boarding gave me the opportunity to build a business I had always dreamed of... Being based within my sister's business has been incredibly special, and I'll always be so grateful for the support, encouragement and home it has given me over the last three years ❤️

As Groomies has grown, so have my ambitions, and the time has come to spread my wings. This move is all about growth... giving me more space and the opportunity to create an even better salon for all of your wonderful dogs 🥰

📍From September 1st Our new home will be on Hollow Lane, Cheddleton, right next door to The Old School Tea Rooms... only around 10 minutes from the current salon 🏠

I'm really hoping all of my lovely customers (and, more importantly, my lovely four-legged customers 🐶😂) will come along with me for this next chapter... I completely understand that a change of location won't work for everyone though, and if the new salon is no longer convenient for you, there are absolutely no hard feelings... I'm just incredibly grateful that you've chosen and supported Groomies for however long you've been with me ❤️

While the address is changing, everything else is staying exactly the same... You'll still get the same personalised service, the same calm approach and, of course, the same love and care for every dog that walks through the door 🐾

🌐 Our brand new website and bookings will go live on Thursday, when you'll be able to find all the information about the new salon and get booked in...

To every single customer who has supported Groomies over the last three years... thank you. You've helped turn a little dream into something I could never have imagined, and I can't wait to welcome you all to our beautiful new salon 💗
