🐴DRESSAGE SOLUTIONS🐴 Understand How Crooked Riding Affects Your Horse ...

Load a wheelbarrow heavily to one side as in the center illustration. Now push the wheelbarrow, and feel how it pulls to the weighted side and how you are forced to lean in that direction to compensate. That’s how your horse feels when you sit unevenly in the saddle, as shown in the left image. When you sit evenly, the horse will be centered and balanced as shown in the illustration on the right.

Home after a fabulous weekend at the Pony Winter Champs
Not the results we dreamt, but fantastic performances from Rosie and the ponies at her first Championship.
I so very proud of how beautifully she rode and how maturely she handled jumping 7 different classes, in 2 rings over 2 days. Going through the finish gates in every class with no stops is an accomplishment in itself!
Let’s not forget she is ‘still only 8!’
Lots learnt now to rest, train and on to the next show 🩷🦄💙🦄

After a couple of quiet weeks clipping my newly serviced Liveryman Blackbeauty’s have been busy.
Today I clipped a very pink skinned pony to give him comfort when working and protection from the sun I used Liveryman covercoat blades, leaving him looking super smart.
