🐾 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 🐾💗
Today we’ve been celebrating our five wonderful veterinary nurses at Copeland Vets — Nicola, Hariane, Amanda, Sarah and Jenny! 🥰
Our nurses are at the very heart of our practice, and their role involves so much more than cuddling cute puppies and kittens (although that’s definitely a lovely perk of the job! 🐶🐱).
From monitoring anaesthetics and caring for patients during surgery, to nursing poorly pets back to health, administering medications, taking blood samples and performing diagnostic tests, our nurses use their knowledge, skills and experience every single day to provide the very best care for our patients.
They’re there to comfort nervous pets, keep a close eye on patients recovering from procedures, support our vets during consultations and investigations, and make sure every patient receives the care and attention they deserve. They also play a huge part in educating and supporting owners, offering advice on everything from post-operative recovery and medication to preventative healthcare and keeping our pets happy and healthy.
And that’s not all! Behind the scenes, they help keep the practice running smoothly, maintain high standards of hygiene and patient safety, care for hospitalised animals throughout the day, and provide reassurance to owners when their beloved pets aren’t feeling their best. 💕
Being a veterinary nurse takes compassion, patience, resilience, teamwork and an incredible amount of dedication. It means celebrating the little victories, providing comfort during difficult moments and always putting the welfare of our patients first.
We’re incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful team. Thank you for the care, kindness, hard work and love you bring to Copeland Vets every day. You make a difference to so many lives — both two-legged and four-legged — and we appreciate everything you do! ❤️
Please join us in giving our amazing nurses a huge thank you! 🥳🐾
