Staff pet Norman the hamster popped in to see us recently for a check up after developing a small abscess.

He’s had some treatment this last week and we’re pleased to say he's healing beautifully and already looking much brighter. 💙

Say hello to Luna. ❤️

Luna, the beautiful Spaniel puppy came to visit us for a health check and vaccinations.

Of course Andrea, our Care Co-ordinator, was first on the scene and couldn't resist stealing Luna away for some much needed puppy snuggles. 🥰

We think it's safe to say Luna enjoyed all the attention, and we certainly enjoyed having her here.

Isn't she adorable? 😍

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming two very special ferret patients Misty and Kylo to the Stockton practice for a spay and vasectomy. ❤️

This was a first for us here as our vet Inês has only recently joined the team and we're delighted to share that both procedures went very smoothly.

Misty and Kylo recovered from their anaesthetics beautifully and were soon back to their curious, charming selves. 🥰

We're so pleased with how well they both did and proud to have been part of their care.

Here's an adorable video of Misty enjoying some tasty liver paste during her recovery. 😍

While Misty has undergone surgical sterilisation, the hormonal implant still remains the advised choice for ferret sterilisation.

Ever since vet Inês joined our team, we’ve been welcoming some very interesting patients through our doors and Frank the snake is definitely one of those.🐍

While Inês loves caring for all pets, exotic animals have a special place in her heart. From scales to feathers to paws, she’s always excited to meet every unique visitor that comes in for care. 🥰

Our Care Co-ordinator Andrea couldn’t resist sneaking in some snuggles while he was here and who could blame her? Such a gorgeous boy! ❤️

Meet Poe 🐾

Poe the Greyhound recently visited us for a dental procedure, which included tooth extractions.

To help support his recovery, Poe’s parents opted for post-operative laser therapy.

Laser therapy is commonly used to:
• Accelerate tissue healing and repair
• Reduce swelling and inflammation
• Improve circulation
• Provide natural, drug free pain relief
• Help promote a more comfortable recovery after surgery

Poe was an absolute superstar for his treatment and recovery, he even wore the goggles like a pro. 😎

Meet Milo. 💛

Milo the Golden Retriever has been coming to see us since he was a tiny puppy, and now he’s all grown up at 2 and a half years old. 🥰

He recently visited us for his castration procedure and of course, brought along his favourite teddy bear for comfort.

We couldn’t resist giving Milo and his teddy matching medical pet shirts and bandages for a little extra moral support, don’t they both look adorable.

These three gorgeous tortoise patients came to visit our vet Inês today for a full head to shell check over.

We love seeing all of our wonderful patients, but it’s always extra special when we get exotic visitors through the doors.
