Just a little shout out to say hi to my new followers! I seem to have a few recently! 👋🏻
Welcome to the crazy world of CutieCatz where no two days are the same and I’ll share the good, the bad and the ugly with you! 🤠
I can’t promise polished influencer style content but what I can promise is honesty, a no frills glimpse into the shenanigans of a Master Cat Groomer and of course and endless supply of beautiful pictures of my kitty customers! 😻

Well today was quite a surprise! All the Cutiez were very well behaved and we had a lovely time!

Che is always a little nervous and can be nippy but he was good as gold for his bath and blow dry. Got lots of cuddles too which was nice! 😍

Spicy Lucy did really well with her hugely dense coat, even if she did complain bitterly! 🤣
This girlie has had a little stroke this year (not the nice kind) but she’s come through marvellously and I hope she continues to be on the mend 😻

I’d been warned about big Maine C**n Austin and didn’t know quite what to expect. However I was nicely surprised that he was very sweet and dealt with a first bath very graciously! Welcome to the tribe Austin! 🥰

And for my last cat of the week… it had to be Rosco! And again, he was pretty chilled out this time and I even got a few kisses! Check out our cuddle pic! Brave eh? 😂

As well as well behaved kitties I had two lots of good news today (in the circumstances) from two very close friends who have cancer, 🤞🏻 and my Crusoe continues to be back to his normal self so I feel grateful to have had a good week and am very much looking forward to having a couple of days off to recharge and have some family time. ❤️

So I soldiered on after my ‘business meeting’ with Hollywood Special Effects makeup artist Layla 😈
and managed to sort my face out between grooms!
(If you don’t know what I’m on about see my previous post!)

Poor Layla has been through the mill a bit this summer with dental issues so I’ll let her off this once 🤣 I think she took out her frustration on me 🫣

Beautiful Princess Violet arrived just in time to give me some love. We had a good old singalong and lots of cuddles to make me feel better. Oh… and I gave her a good de floof too! 😻

Sweetheart Dylan had his first full groom this afternoon and did ever so well letting me brush out his fluffy coat. Well done boy! 🏆

And I finished the day with another little firecracker Fleur who was only in for a hygiene trim but managed to bite my elbow! 🫣🤣
Eeesh what a day!
And tomorrow I’ve got to run the gauntlet of huge Main C**ns 😳

Today has been all about the shorthaired beauties!
They all need grooming too! 😊

Floofy Miss Alaska has a thick coat but she doesn’t give it up easily! She sat very patiently but despite my effort the fur pile was pretty small!
Thinks she wants to hang on to a bit for winter! 😂
We had lovely cuddles anyway and she went home soft and smelling lovely! 😻

Chichi came for a birthday treat and didn’t enjoy it one bit. Don’t be fooled by those gorgeous looks….She’s a fiesty little one but I just can’t take her attempts at violence seriously as she’s so cute! 🫣 like an angry squirrel! 🐿️ 😈

Lovely Brutus had his usual claw clip and wasn’t quite as grumpy as usual 🥰

Welcome to pretty newbie Kindi who had her first groom in the pod. She was very good indeed and was very proud of her fur pile! 😍

Claw clip and hygiene trim for the most wiggly Nutmeg who managed to do a backflip off the table despite my best efforts to hold onto her. 😂
Luckily she’s a big softie and let me get to all the books and crannies eventually!

I just have to add this little post to say how sorry I was to hear that Bronson has crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday...

I just have to add this little post to say how sorry I was to hear that Bronson has crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. I hadn’t actually met this lovely boy yet 😔
His original appointment was delayed as he was unwell but he seemed to be much better and was rebooked to come.
I’m really sad that I didn’t get to meet him and want to send love to his family.
Fly high lovely boy, I’m sure you’ll be very missed 🌈

I’m extremely happy and cautiously relieved to say that my Crusoe seems to be improving by the day. 🙏🏻
I’m hoping he just had a trapped nerve or something as he’s got full mobility back in his paw (although it’s a little stiff)
He’s been enjoying a bit of fresh air over the weekend and had a good game of Mr Teddy today.
(As well as bounding down the stairs to get away from Edie who has been by his side constantly bless her!)
Everything crossed 🤞🏻 that he continues to improve. He gave us quite a scare last week 🤯

After a great two days off which included two birdwatching trips, a beer festival, another fantastic live music gig, and a nice couple of lie in’s I was back in the pod today!

Visited my darling Humphrey and nearly made it injury free (it was only a little scratch!) and actually got a decent photo for once! Bless him 😻

Precious oldie Max came and had his usual wet bath, I had to do a bit of coat modification (we went for this season’s choppy look) but he went home clean and comfortable. At 20 he does amazingly! 😍

And sweet and hissy Miss Poppy brought a very fluffy coat with her which needed a little taming! She loves a good swipe but with a bit of persuasion we did well 🥰

Qu**ky mat removal for Jack who I’ll be seeing again for a full groom in November ☺️
