Looking for His Forever Home
Chase is a beautiful 19-month-old German Shepherd looking for a loving, suitable forever home where he can thrive.
He is an incredibly loyal, loving boy with a big heart and lots of energy. He is very affectionate and has never shown aggression towards our children or other dogs. He is fully toilet trained, extremely intelligent knowing multiple commands, has good recall, has been castrated, is up to date with his vaccinations and has no current health problems or medication.
We have an 11-week-old baby and a 4-year-old, and although Chase is very loving with them, he is a big, boisterous and rather d***y boy who doesn’t always realise his own size. For this reason, we feel he would be better suited to a home with older children or no children, where there is less risk of him accidentally knocking someone over.
Chase is good with other dogs, but he craves attention and can be very persistent when he wants it. He currently lives with an older, quieter, more timid German shepherd bitch, and unfortunately their personalities aren’t the best match. He often pesters her and struggles to recognise when she wants space. We feel he would be better suited as the only dog in the home, or potentially living with a confident, well-balanced dog who is comfortable setting boundaries.
This is not an easy decision, as Chase is a lovely dog with so much love to give. We simply want to find the right environment for him, where his needs can be met and he can receive the time and attention he deserves.
Finding the right home is our priority. We want to make sure Chase goes to a loving family who understands the German Shepherd breed and can give him the best possible future. ❤️
