🐾 🐾 Want a quick getaway from the hot house? Have you been thinking about putting the tent up in the garden due to the heat? Well now there is a solution! Disley Meadow This beautiful meadow is situated a stones throw away from the A6 and right next to the Peak Forest Canal.

Garages, shops, pubs and restaurants are within walking distance from the field. Disley Meadow offers 3 solutions to enjoy the Disley countryside. You can take your own tent, hire a converted cattle trailer or if there are a few of you, you can hire a bell tent which houses 6 people! The bell tent also comes with an enclosed shower and toilet, hot tub, picnic bench and bbq. There are also shared toilets and a shower room if you decide to take your own tent or use the cattle trailer. Christian also offers kayaks for hire so you can kayak down the picturesque Peak Forest canal.

This place is truly phenomenal, views are outstanding and you can get a tranquil night's sleep. I decided to hire out the cattle trailer for 1 night it's pretty much fully equipped for a glamping experience.

Christian the owner has really thought of it all. The trailer had a raised extra comfy bed with plenty of pillows and blankets, modern lighting, USB charging sockets, two pouffes to sit indoors, a chest of drawers for your clothes and it even has a toaster and kettle! (tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided) Also provided was 2 camping chairs, fire pit, briquettes for the fire, bin bags and fire lighters as I say Christian has thought of it all!

To top it off Christian has 4 very friendly Alpacas and he can provide food so you can pet and feed them! He provides instructions on how to do it so your little ones don't get sore fingers 😂

If you are new to the area he provides a leaflet with recommendations where to eat, drink and basically be merry in the beautiful village that is Disley.

This was truly a unique experience, and with it being 100% dog friendly my dog Leo loved it too! Check out the pics.

I 100% recommend a visit. Watch this space also as Christian and other Disley residents hold events there (recently a dog show and fun day was there) he also hires out the land for wedding receptions. The host Christian is super friendly and will help you with any questions you have. He is available on Whatsapp or phone and is very responsive. The good news is the signal and 4G signal are strong there too!

So if you fancy a quirky stay in a cattle trailer, a luxury stay in a bell tent with a hot tub or simply take your own tent. This is the place for you! Highly recommended and definitely worth 5 ⭐ 🐾 🐾
