Meet lovely Zoe, who came for her first visit to Monika’s Pet Grooming this week! 🐾❤️

Such a happy, lively girl — always on the move and full of personality! Getting her to pause for a photo was quite a challenge 😂📸

It was lovely to meet you, Zoe! 🥰✂️

⭐️ Guinness First Full Groom ⭐️

Monday was a big milestone for gorgeous Guinness— his very first full groom! 🖤✂️

And what a little superstar he was… 5 stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A huge part of this is thanks to his lovely pawrents bringing him regularly for puppy grooms from a young age. 🐾 Those early visits really do make such a difference, helping puppies get comfortable with bathing, drying, brushing, clippers and the whole salon experience.

So when the time comes for their first full groom, it’s already familiar and much less stressful. ❤️

Guinness absolutely smashed it — 5-star behaviour for his first full groom! ⭐️
And just look at that handsome little face! 🥹🖤

🐾 Meet beautiful Willow! 🤍

9-month-old Willow, an Alaskan Malamute, visited me yesterday for her very first deshedding groom — and she was such a good girl! 🥰

Alaskan Malamutes have a beautiful double coat, with a soft, dense undercoat and a coarser protective topcoat. Regular deshedding helps remove loose, dead undercoat while keeping the natural coat healthy and looking its best. ✨

Willow had a good bath, blow-dry and thorough deshed, leaving her coat clean, fluffy and refreshed. 🫧🐾

She was an absolute star for her first visit — just look at this gorgeous girl! 😍🤍

✨ Handsome Mac (MacAllan) after his hand strip ✨

What a transformation! 😍🐾
Mac came in for his hand stripping session today, removing all that old dead coat while keeping his lovely natural colour and texture.

Just look at the difference — and that gorgeous little face! 🥰
Such a good boy from start to finish ❤️

🍂 Summer is coming to an end… and shedding season is here! 🐾

Handsome Bowie the Chow Chow visited me last week for a full groom and a serious deshedding session… just look at all that fluff! 😱😂

Deshedding helps remove all that loose, dead undercoat, allowing the coat to breathe and keeping it healthy, comfortable and looking beautiful. ✨

And I think Bowie looks pretty pleased with the result too! 🥰🐻

If your dog is leaving little clouds of fluff around the house, it might be time for a good deshed! 🐾

✨ Meet beautiful Chance ✨

A lovely new face at Monika’s Pet Grooming today 🐾❤️

Gorgeous Lakeland Terrier Chance came in for her hand strip, and what a transformation! 😍

Removing all that dead coat really brought back her beautiful natural colour and texture — and judging by the pile of coat, she definitely left a little lighter! 😂🐶

She was such a lovely girl and an absolute pleasure to have in the salon. ❤️

Welcome Chance — I hope to see you again soon! 🥰🐾

✨ Meet Baxter! ✨

Gorgeous Baxter visited me for the very first time and what a transformation! 🥰🐾

From a very fluffy boy to this handsome little gentleman 😍✂️ Just look at that gorgeous face hiding underneath all that hair!

Baxter was such a lovely boy to have in the salon and I absolutely loved giving him his fresh new look. ❤️

I think we can all agree… Baxter scrubs up rather well! 😂😍

Thank you for trusting me with your gorgeous boy on his first visit. Hope to see you again soon, Baxter! 🐾❤️

🖤 Meet gorgeous Nyx! 🖤

This beautiful 9-month-old German Shepherd visited me today for her first deshedding session since being adopted 🥰

Nyx is such a sweet, happy girl and absolutely FULL of energy! 😂🐾

I didn’t manage to get a photo of her in the bath… mainly because Nyx decided I needed a shower too! 😂💦

She wasn’t too sure about the dryer at first, but after a little while she realised it wasn’t so bad and we soon became friends. 🥰

And just look at all that coat we got out! 😱🖤 She left looking and feeling like a brand-new girl — fresh, fluffy and absolutely gorgeous. ✨

Such a pleasure meeting you today, Nyx. You were a little superstar and I can’t wait to see you again! 🐾🖤

Welcome to Monika’s Pet Grooming, beautiful girl! 🥰
