Thank goodness today was cooler- the dogs enjoyed the sun but we all appreciated the break 😅

This morning we had our walk all to ourselves and then we met up with Lucky Stars Dog Walking and Adventures in the afternoon for a much needed catch up- everyone had a blast 💚💜🐾

⚠️ Safety notice: Blue-green algae has been identified in Airthrey Loch. Please avoid all contact with the water until further notice.

Contact with the algae, and the toxins produced, can result in ill- health and can be fatal for small animals, including dogs. There is also a risk associated with the consumption of fish caught in the Loch at this time.

Algae blooms are common in lochs at this time of year, due to the warm and sunny weather, and where levels of nutrients are high in the water.

Please report any incidents involving contact with the loch to Security.

I hate the heat but the dogs seem to be loving it because it means SWIMMING! 🌊

As always we are super careful in this weather judging it as the day goes on and how the dogs cope, sticking to shorter shady river walks.

We always have fresh water, cool coats, cool mats, fans and of course air con in my fully insulated and ventilated van 😁

Thursday is supposed to be cooking so I'll keep everyone updated
