🐾 💚 EXTRA DOG WALKS IN NOVEMBER, ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE! 💚 🐾

Throughout November, I'll be offering some extra dog walking spaces in the afternoons, early evenings and at weekends, but these walks will be a little different from my usual services!

I'm taking part in the FFH - 5R’s 30 in 30 Challenge to help raise much needed funds to save Finding Forever Homes dog rescue from closing. ❤️

My challenge is to walk an EXTRA 30 miles throughout November, on top of all my normal dog walks!

🐕 So I'm offering 30 one-mile dog walks throughout November!

🐾 Each walk will be approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the dog's pace.

🐾 Walks will be available on selected afternoons, early evenings and weekends.

🐾 Locations will vary. I might collect your dog from your doorstep for a local walk, take them to the woods or head somewhere else for a little adventure!

💚 HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Absolutely nothing in my usual walking fees!

Instead of charging for these walks, I'm simply asking for a donation to my 30 in 30 Crowdfunder challenge.

There's no set donation amount. Whether you can spare £2, £5, £10 or more, every penny will help towards saving the rescue and giving more dogs the chance of a happy future.

❤️ FFH-5R'S is a rescue very close to my heart, with three of my own dogs having come from there. I know firsthand the difference this rescue makes to dogs who need a second chance.

So, rather than just walking the extra miles myself, I thought why not get some of your lovely dogs involved, give them an extra adventure and raise some money at the same time!

🐶 WOULD YOUR DOG LIKE TO JOIN ME?

If you'd like to book one of the extra walks during November, just drop me a message and we can arrange a suitable day and time.

Spaces will be limited as I'll be fitting them around my normal working day.

💚 You can also sponsor my challenge directly here:

30 extra miles, 30 dog walks and hopefully plenty of wagging tails, all to help save a rescue that means so much to me! 🐾❤️

Thank you for supporting both Furever Friends Pet Services and FFH-5R'S! 💚

If you are able to, please check out the rescue my baloo came from. They are in real danger of having to close forever but there's dogs like baloo that still need their help to find homes

Imagine being so frightened of people that all you know how to do is hide.

Not because you're aggressive or difficult, but because the world feels terrifying and you don't know who to trust.

That was Baloo, nearly 3 years ago. 🐾

A young, frightened boy hiding in a barn, too scared to let anyone near him. Nobody could catch him safely, and that's when we were asked to help.

Chelsea went out and, with patience and understanding, managed to get a slip lead on him and bring him safely into our care.

Baloo wasn't a bad dog. He was simply scared and needed someone to see past his fear. ❤️

He didn't need months of rehabilitation and found his forever home quite quickly. But that doesn't mean the part we played wasn't important.

Sometimes rescue is about the smallest steps. Helping a frightened dog feel safe, showing them kindness and giving them the confidence to begin trusting again.

Those little moments can change a dog's entire future.

Today, Baloo is thriving in his forever home. He still has nervous moments, but he's a completely different dog.

💬 HIS OWNER SAYS:

"Without Chelsea and FFH-5R'S taking the time and patience to show Baloo people aren't all that scary, who knows what he would be like now?

They helped him start to learn to trust. He's very much a one-person dog, but he now knows he doesn't have to worry about other people.

I want FFH-5R'S to remain open and secure their forever home because I know there are more dogs like my Baloo who will need their help, love, understanding and patience."

🏡 THIS IS WHY WE'RE FIGHTING TO SAVE FFH-5R'S.

We've helped over 650 dogs find their forever homes. Some have needed extensive rehabilitation, others, like Baloo, just needed patience, kindness and a chance.

Every single one matters.

We're trying to raise £220,000 to secure a permanent home for our rescue, so we can continue helping dogs like Baloo.

💚 We helped Baloo find his forever home. Now we need your help to secure ours.

Even £1 or a simple share could help us reach more people.

🐾 For Baloo. For the 650+ dogs we've helped. And for every frightened dog still waiting for someone to believe in them.

❤️ PLEASE HELP SAVE FFH-5R'S:

Because the next Baloo deserves a chance too. ❤️🐾

🐾 NATURAL TREATS & CHEWS FUNDRAISER 🐾

I’m organising a little fundraiser to help stock up on natural treats and chews for the dogs at FFH-5R’S while they’re waiting for their forever homes.

I have access to wholesale prices, so every penny raised will go directly on treats for the dogs. I won’t be taking any profit from this at all.

Each time the pot reaches £100, I’ll place an order. Orders over £100 get free delivery, which means even more of the money raised can go straight on goodies for the dogs to enjoy.

Things like pig ears, chicken feet and other natural chews can make such a lovely bit of enrichment for the dogs while they’re in rescue. 🐶

If you’d like to put a few pounds into the treat pot, you can donate here:

www.paypal.com/pools/c/9tdOv4f225

Even a small donation will help build the next order.

Thank you so much to anyone who donates or shares.

I have messaged all customers to say that I will be moving next year. I will be not only helping FFH - 5R’s rescue more but also offering some agility and hoopers sessions where I am moving to and eventually setting up a sanctuary for farm animals. Follow the shared page if you want to follow the journey. I will be back in Stevenage to visit so will try to see some of the dogs when I do as will miss them as a lot have been with me for years

Welcome to The Good Life Farm 🐴🐔🐑

A small sanctuary in the making for rescued and retired farm animals.

We aim to provide a safe home for donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and more.

First, we must secure land and build essential shelters and fencing.

This page will share our journey - fundraising, progress, and the animals once we start to welcome them in.

Every follow, share and donation helps.

This is just the beginning.

Welcome to The Good Life Farm.

Your support. Their future.

Although the crowdfunder officially closed on Saturday, it can still accept donations. If you would like to help us towards getting the shaders and connectors needed, you can still donate via the crowdfunder for this.
For a shader for every run, it comes to around €500 needed to raise. We would love to be able to do this by end of may so can all be with us in June when the weather will really start warming up and the dogs will desperately need the extra shade.

If you cannot donate, please share, comment and help us spread the word of what we are trying to do.
