We are now closed for a weeks rest, relaxation and family time.🥂🍾

This has honestly been the most stressful couple of months with this blooming weather that started off glorious and has now become the bain of my life. 😩

Thank you to everyone for your patience and for accommodating me and your dogs as we navigated your appointments throughout the heat to keep everyone safe and comfortable. It’s been a nightmare, juggling kids and dogs, but we did it 😀.

Thank you to today’s clients as we postponed in full agreement with each other as it’s just unbearable and unsafe. 🤦‍♀️🥵

I will get you all in and get back on track when I return.

On a personal note, It’s also been a very sad few months as we’ve lost a number of beautiful dogs due to old age or sudden illnesses. These include, Poppy one half of our singing Cockers 💔🌈Jasper the lurcher💔🌈Benjamin, who wore his heart on his side 💔🌈and Mr Ichabod.💔🌈.
It truly breaks my heart, just as it does for you the owners as when they are with me, they are “mine” for those few hours. So I’m once again sending my love to their staff🫶🥲.

See you all soon and I’ll never complain about the cold ever ever again 😂😂😂😂

Looks like it’s going to be another warm week. 🙄 The Salon is in the shade and remains at a cool temperature until midday with the windows and door open . I have a thermometer in there so I can keep an eye on the temperature 👁️🔥
I’ll contact everyone booked in this week tomorrow morning and offer you earlier morning appointments from 8.30am. If you want to reschedule your appointment that is absolutely not a problem.
Please bare with me. I won’t be able to book any other dogs in until it cools down and in case I get a back log.
It’s still too warm in the salon to offer evening appointments too🤦‍♀️
Your dogs wellbeing is always my number 1 priority. Once it cools down I’ll be able to get everyone sorted. I also have to be careful myself as I can get heatstroke without realising.🙄

Well it looks like summer has arrived with a blast this week.🥵🥵

All clients booked in for this week have either been postponed or rearranged for very early morning appointments.🐾🐾

I've also just been notified by the schools that they are sending the children home at 1pm this week. 🤦🏼

Next week is so far looking much more manageable so I will get everyone re booked in then.🤞

Hi everyone.

Just to let you know I'm now on holiday for the next week. I'm off to France to support friends doing a full Ironman💪, via the champagne vineyards.🥂🍾 Just a little treat for myself following the 2 Marathons and surviving Teenagers doing GCSE😫

I will reply to any messages and book inthose of you in who have requested appointments on my return.

Just a little reminder that as the weather starts to turn warmer. ( typing as its absolutely chucking it down💦💦🤦🏼🤣) I will rearrange or postpone appointments for the welfare of your dog if we have crazy hot days.

Looking forward to the summer rush on my return.

Yesterday I had the greatest of privileges in hosting a Grooming talk at Craig y Nos Castle not far from Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (formerly Brecon Beacons) for my beloved Welsh Terriers in front of an international audience.

I just wanted to let you know that I am very, very lucky to have you all as my clients. Not everyone is as lucky as I am. 😊

Hi Everyone.

Just to let you know I am not around now until later next week. I will reply to messages and book everyone who is waiting for an appointment in next week when I know I'll be recovered enough to go back in the Salon.

Tomorrow I'm off to Wales to host a grooming talk about my beloved Welsh Terriers with people from all over the world attending. I'm so excited to be invited back again to do this. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This is a whirlwind week as on my return from Wales late on Friday, I'll tgen start to prepare for the second part of my double header fundraising challenge, which ive been training so hard for.

4 weeks ago we completed The Camino Ultra Marathon 50K. It's practically taken me all 4 weeks to recover my strength.

In the early hours of Sunday morning I will be once again running The official London Marathon virtually. Starting at the finish and finishing at the official start through the night/ early hours before the day run starts.

4 years ago this week was the very beginning of my breast cancer diagnosis.

Fast forward 4 years and here I am getting ready to run my 4th Marathon since my diagnosis. 🙌 with an amazing group of supportive friends.

I'm fundraising for our local Cancer Centre where I had my Chemotherapy. I want to continue to prove that there is life after a Cancer diagnosis. Even if the after effects of the disease and treatments keep on bloody giving me a hard time and try and make life difficult, it is not stopping me. 😊

My Rebellious Hope flows stronger than ever to support the 1 in 2 of us who will need that Chemotherapy chair in the very near future.

Please donate if you can, no matter how small.
My initial target has been smashed, so lets see if we can hit £1.000.

It really does make a huge difference.

I cannot wait to be wearing these fantastic tops and medals with pride after this weekend.
