Pets Korner Pets Korner is a Independent & Family Run Business in the centre of Stamford. We offer a variety of pet supplies for a range of animals.

We sell an incredible amount of pet supplies, this goes from small animal food and toys like guinea pigs etc to things like dogs and cats where we have some vetinery products a lot of food and a lot of toys for cats and dogs too :)

Today is international wildlife day!

Across the UK there is a wide range of different wildlife that can be spotted. The red fox is most widespread across the uk, it is a mammal and they tend to live in the countryside, moors but have been found around cities. They are omnivores and they are nocturnal. Another popular mammal found across the UK is red deer, they are found in Scotland, Exmoor, New Forest and the Peak District, they travel in herds.

In the UK, there are many bird species around such as the robin, labelled as a national favourite, they are territory defenders who sing all year round including winter. They are known for there red breasts which can be spotted in bushes and across nature.

There is much more wildlife within the UK to be explored, it’s important to protect our wildlife to conserve its beauty. 🐾🌿🐦‍⬛

Today is international whale shark day!

Whale sharks are not actually whales despite the name of them, they are the largest fish and largest shark weighing an average 12-15 tonne. They appear with dark blue and grey back with unique spots and stripes.

They are one of three filter feeding sharks species, they tend to eat krill and plankton amongst other small prey. They are found in warm tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide.

At Pets Korner we have a this beautiful whale shark toy with a section in its mouth to put treats acting like a filter feeding technique just like the real sharks 💙🐾🐶🐋
