I’m incredibly proud to introduce Moonshade Maine C***s, my small, dedicated hobby cattery, registered with GCCF as Moonshade Maine C***s and TICA as MoonshadeMC. 🐾
Our Maine C***s are raised in the heart of our busy family home, where kittens experience everyday household life from an early age. As a registered childminder, they are naturally exposed to children of different ages, everyday sounds, handling and a variety of experiences, helping them develop into confident, affectionate and well-socialised companions. ❤️
🧬 HEALTH & WELFARE
The health, welfare and temperament of my cats and kittens are always my highest priority.
All breeding cats are appropriately health tested, with DNA and other relevant health screening undertaken as part of my breeding programme. I carefully consider health, temperament, pedigree and genetics when planning each pairing, with the aim of producing healthy, happy Maine C***s with wonderful temperaments.

We are expecting our next litter mid-November 2026. 💕🐾
🏡 EVERY MOONSHADE KITTEN LEAVES WITH:
✔️ Fully health checked by a veterinary surgeon at least twice
✔️ Fully vaccinated, age appropriate
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ Neutered/spayed before leaving as applicable
✔️ Health guarantee/contract
✔️ GCCF or TICA registration, depending on the kitten
✔️ Pedigree documentation
✔️ Transfer/registration documentation where applicable
✔️ Worming and parasite treatment appropriate for age
✔️ Fully weaned onto a raw diet
✔️ Litter trained
✔️ Well socialised and accustomed to normal household life
✔️ Regular handling from an early age
✔️ Kitten pack with food, information and useful essentials
✔️ Ongoing life time support and advice for their new family
For fully registered GCCF or TICA kittens, all relevant registration and pedigree paperwork will be provided in accordance with the applicable registration requirements.
My aim is not simply to breed beautiful Maine C***s, but to raise healthy, confident and loving family companions and to provide every Moonshade kitten with the best possible start in life. 💙
