Dog Field At Dunston Heath

Why not bring a cuppa along on your next visit? A warm coffee, happy dogs and a bit of autumn sunshine… sounds like the perfect combination!

We do, however, have one little pumpkin mug looking for its owner! If you’ve left your mug behind, drop us a message and we’ll get it back to you. 🍁

Dare we say it… just 10 weeks to go!

We’re already getting bookings coming in for the Christmas & New Year period! 🐾

If your dog would love a little festive adventure (and some space to burn off those Christmas zoomies!), don’t leave it too late.

We’d love to see you and your four-legged friends over the festive season. ❤️

Reggie has definitely been making the most of his visits lately!

A bit of exploring, a bit of climbing and, of course, plenty of splashing!

Looks like a pretty happy boy to us ❤️

Just a reminder for dogs and owners visiting us in which we would really appreciate everyone’s help.

We have a number of nervous and reactive dogs using our field. For some dogs, it’s not just about physically meeting another dog — simply seeing / hearing another dog, or a car containing a dog, can be enough to cause anxiety or trigger a reaction.

So, to help minimise dogs encountering each other at the gate:

🟢 Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booking.

🔴 If you arrive earlier, please continue your journey and return at the appropriate time rather than waiting at the entrance.

If you arrive at your correct time and the previous customer is still in the field, please remain in your vehicle with your dog and keep your windows closed. If they haven’t left, give us a call and we’ll help.

Arriving late is absolutely fine, but your booking time doesn’t change — please still leave by your scheduled end time.

Hopefully this will help make arrivals and departures calmer and less stressful for all our dogs and their owners.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

FINLEY’S SUMMER CHALLENGE – THAT’S A WRAP!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took part in our Finley Summer Challenge over the school holidays!

It’s been so lovely knowing the children getting involved, having fun and enjoying the different activities at the field. And even better, we’ve loved seeing our prize winners coming back to the field over the last few weeks to enjoy their prizes!

We’re also really pleased to share that, thanks to everyone who took part, we’ve been able to make a £50 donation to Brighter Days Rescue.

Thank you again to everyone who joined in, and well done to all our winners! 🏆🎉

We hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer!

We want our field to be a lovely, safe and enjoyable space for every dog and every owner who visits, so we just wanted to give a little reminder about leaving the field as you found it.

Please make sure you’re supervising your dog during your visit and that nothing is left behind in the field or around the seating areas, including:

💩 Dog p**p
🦴 Treats, chews & food
🧸 Toys
🗑️ Rubbish
🐾 Anything else your dog may have brought into the field

As the field is a large space, supervising your dog and keeping an eye on what they’re doing throughout your visit is the best way to make sure nothing is accidentally left behind.

This is a community space, and we all share the responsibility of keeping it clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who already takes such good care of the field — we really do appreciate it!
