🐾 Meet this beautiful little Norfolk Terrier! 🐾

This lovely girl visited us this morning for her Animal Health Certificate, as she prepares for an exciting move to sunny Spain. 🇪🇸☀️

We completed all of the necessary travel documentation, ensuring she’s ready for a smooth and stress-free journey.

We’ve never met a dog who loves the vet as much as Scooby! Every time he visits, he’s wagging his tail and so excited to see the team. But we recently found out that Scooby has allergies. His immune system gets a bit confused and reacts to things like pollen or dust, making him itchy and uncomfortable.

We’ve actually seen a record number of dogs coming in lately with allergies, so we know this is a big issue for a lot of pups right now. Just a note: our consultation fee is £45. We’re so grateful to our vet team for helping Scooby and all these other dogs feel better. If your pup is ever itchy or uncomfortable, don’t hesitate to reach out. We love you, Scooby! ❤️🌝

Everybody meet Milo! 🐶

Milo came in to see us on Friday for his dental scale and polish, and he arrived looking incredibly smart in his bow tie. He was happy to be here and was an absolute star throughout his visit.

His brother, Sully, came to see us a few months ago, so there’s a bit of a family rivalry going on over who gets featured on our page! 😄

Milo was wonderful from start to finish, and after his dental treatment his teeth are looking brand new. We think he’s left here with a smile worthy of a holiday makeover!

Well done, Milo – you were a superstar! ⭐🦷

Hi everyone, meet Molly! 🐶 Molly came in to us for a spay. Initially, her mom was really, really worried 😟, but thankfully, Molly went through the spay like a trooper! 💪 She’s come back for a post-op check, and she’s fully healed 🎉 and ready to enjoy the sunny weather ☀️!

Bailey came in today for his Animal Health Certificate ready for his travels 🐾✈️

An Animal Health Certificate (AHC) is the document pets now need to travel from the UK to EU countries. It confirms your pet is microchipped and has a valid rabies vaccination in place.

We’ve had lots of enquiries recently regarding travel documents, so here’s a little information on our pricing:

🐶 Animal Health Certificate – £145
💉 Rabies vaccination – £60
⭐ Rabies vaccination for pets on our health plan – £50

If you’re planning a trip away with your furry friend, make sure you leave plenty of time to get everything arranged before travelling. Please contact us if you’d like any advice or to get booked in.

What’s better than one greyhound…? Three! 🐾
It was so lovely seeing these little ones out enjoying their sunny walk today. They’re the best-behaved greyhounds — so sweet, happy, and full of personality. Always a joy to see them pass by! ☀️💛

Sadly, we have this morning received a deceased male domestic short-haired cat, black and white in colour, brought in by a member of the public. He was found on Stone Road.

The cat is unneutered and has no microchip.

If you believe this may be your pet or have any information that could help us identify his owner, please contact us as soon as possible.

We had a special case last week and would love to introduce you to little Reggie 🐶💛

Reggie came into us because his owner was concerned about a possible nail problem, as he had suddenly stopped weight-bearing on one of his legs. After a thorough physical examination and X-rays, we discovered that Reggie was actually suffering from a lateral patellar luxation (dislocation).

This condition occurs when the kneecap (patella) slips out of its normal position and moves to the outer side of the knee joint. It can cause pain, lameness, and difficulty walking, as the joint is no longer functioning properly.

To give Reggie the best possible care, we worked closely with an orthopaedic surgeon who assists our practice with complex cases like this. Surgery was recommended to realign and stabilise the kneecap, helping to restore normal function and prevent future dislocations.

We are so pleased to share that Reggie’s procedure went really well 👏✨ and he is now comfortably on the road to recovery. With rest, rehabilitation, and lots of TLC, we are confident he will be back to his happy, active self in no time 🐾💙
