Dougal the gorgeous spaniel puppy 😍

Here is Dougal who you can see in picture 1 had great difficulty opening his eyes. He has a condition where his eyelids rolled inward causing his eyelashes to roll into the eyes leading to discomfort and irritation 😥

Due to his age he had staples inserted as a temporary measure to help roll out the eyelids. However, this was a temporary measure. Unfortunately he outgrew the staples and Dougal started to interfere with them which lead to him having to come back several weeks later.

The final picture shows sutures being put in place instead. So far he doing so well. However, he may still require entropion surgery.

He was such a superstar patient, RVN Alex enjoyed giving him snuggles post op. Another RVN Rebecca adores him too (she has one of Dougals litter mates, who has been a great addition to her dog clan).

Frankie Blue 💙

We absolutely fell in love with Little Frankie Blue last month when he came in for his neutering.

He was such a delight and was a superstar patient.

RVN Jess and Lily were particularly fond of him and he had lots of cuddles. Post op we always check on our patients ensuring they have fully recovered from their procedure. During this time we spend time with him ensuring they are given that extra TLC (if they want us too). In Frankie Blue's case he definitely accepted extra cuddles.

Sometimes even our own pets need surgery. This is why we completely relate to your worries and concerns. Here is SVN George with her dog Crackle who came to be neutered last month.

He was such a brave boy and we are pleased to report doing excellent since his op.

Sad news.

Unfortunately we had a cat brought into last night by a concerned member of public.

The cat was found in Penkridge ( the people were not from around the area so it's unknown whereabouts).

Black and white Domestic semi long haired.

Male neutered.
No microchip or collar.

Help yourself to a blanket to cover your carrier while your waiting too and there's a feliway spray available so you can spray the blanket.

All this helps your cat feels less stressed.

Billy ❤️

The gorgeous Billy came in for an abdominal ultrasound. Here he is with SVN Emma and RVN Jess.

Despite him not enjoying the company of his own kind he loves attention from our nurses.

Following a few renovations at our hospital here is our new imaging room. This allows us to perform ultrasound scans in a quieter and calmer area ensuring our patients are settled and comfortable.

Billy was a super star ⭐ isn't he just beautiful 😍
