***update Lessons Friday the 26th June ***

We will remain closed tomorrow (Friday 26th) due to the high temperatures still forecast.

It’s looks set to be cooler by the weekend and so lessons will most likely be going ahead on Saturday as normal, with extra measures in place to keep the horses cool. Please bring drinks to your lessons.

****Important weather update Lessons Thursday 25th ****

Due to the high temperatures forecast today, all riding lessons have been cancelled.

The welfare of our horses, ponies and clients, will always come first ♥️🐴

Instead, they’ll be spending the day relaxing with plenty of hay in the shade, regular hosing to keep them cool, and constant access to fresh water💦

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support. I will automatically rebook everyone into their regular slot, so please let me know if it’s any different. Enjoy this lovely weather, take care in the heat! ☀️🐴💙

🐴 Important Reminder – Lesson Cancellation Policy 🐴

We would like to remind all clients that Newfields Riding School operates a strict 24-hour cancellation policy on all lessons.

Over the past week we have unfortunately experienced a number of late cancellations. Whilst we appreciate that unexpected circumstances can arise, last-minute cancellations leave lesson spaces that cannot be filled, horses that have been allocated and prepared, and staff who have been scheduled and paid to be available for lessons.

As agreed when joining our lesson programme, any lesson cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice remains payable in full and payment will be requested via bank transfer.

We do not enjoy enforcing this policy, however it is necessary to ensure the continued running of the riding school and to be fair to our horses, staff and other clients who may have wished to book the lesson space.

We kindly ask all clients to respect this policy and provide as much notice as possible if they are unable to attend.

Pony day ☀️
Looks like we are set for a fantastic day with beautiful sunshine - Don’t forget the suncream, hats and extra drinks !!
I appreciate it’s hot but please remember we still need safe footwear (no trainers!) and no shorts for riding (the stirrups will pinch your legs and you will regret your life’s choices 🤣)

We thought you might be missing your horse fix while the horses are having their rest week so here are some pictures of them enjoying a fantastic massage from the lovely Equine Gem, the horses loved her and she did a thorough job making sure they are all feeling supple and relaxed ready to come back to work on Saturday ! Thank you Gemma!
The horses have also all been treated to new light weight rugs, I’m taking bets on who will be the first to rip theirs 🙄🐴 !!

Just a quick reminder the riding school is now closed for lessons untill Saturday the 23rd May, This is to allow the horses a nice rest week before Half term! Have a lovely week and we look forwards to resuming on the 23rd ☺️🐴
