PADS DOG TRAINING is a dog training centre, we offer classes in - obedience - agility - heel work to music - flyball - new fun scurry classes---we also do one-to-one lessons for dogs who would not cope in class. We teach you to get the very best out of our training & your dog in a fun & happy environment. Our puppy class sizes are kept small to allow you and your new best friend the time and space to get the advice that you need. PADS DOG TRAINING is all about having fun while training your dog. Roz and the team are fully comitted to helping you to get the best out of our training, in whatever aspect of our training you choose, whether it is obedience, agility, flyball, heelwork to music or basic gundog work. Whatever you want from your dog, and whatever your dog needs from you, we at PADS can help you achieve that goal, be it just a friendly, happy pet, or a fully trained working dog. We are experienced/qualified in getting the best out of your dog and you; all our training methods are ‘genuine’ kind, gentle and positive . No ‘pin down’. No ‘corrector sprays’. No ‘corrector collars’. We teach you to encourage your dog to be a well-adjusted member of dog society, while you and your dog are enjoying yourselves. We have separate classes for your dog’s, age, ability and requirements. We also do one to one classes and have a qualified behaviourist on the team. As well as training, we also do lots of displays, walks and social events - for humans and dogs too. Monday obedience in Penkridge 7pm and 8.15

Tuesday in Haughton Agility 7pm to 8pm. Obedience 8.30pm to 9,30. Wednesday is Penkridge obedience training 7pm and 8.15. Also avaliable (please enquire)

Last night in the gold level class we were teaching the dogs to “go round!” I was suggesting where they could practice it. So Fred’s been working this morning so we can demonstrate.
Just something different to encourage them to pay more attention to their owners and have a bit of fun as well as learning new things.
Pads is a kennel club listed,accredited dog training place. But the good citizen exercises are Definitely Not the only things we do within all the different class levels! In all levels we do loads of different things as well as the usual exercises!
We are all very experienced dog owners and trainers. So we make the classes fun as well as teaching the dogs and owners exactly what they need to be the best.
Obviously the owners have to practice every day. Not just in the house and garden. Practicing in busy places and on walks is the best way to get good results from the classes.
Pads dog training moto has always been “Pads where fun and training go hand in paw!”
Whatever you need from our classes you must explain to your trainer so we can help. Anything you don’t like or feel uncomfortable about we need to know about it. Our priority is your dogs 💕🐾

Pads is at Penkridge tonight doing our obedience classes. Puppy/beginner, bronze, silver, gold and a fun advanced class.
All run by the most experienced welcoming people done in a fun friendly environment. Our training methods are all positive and tweaked to suit your dogs needs.
Looking forward to seeing our class members later. Seeing those dogs coming in so excited to see their friends is the best thing 🐾💕

I was really well behaved, though I wasn’t really keen to go into the vet. It’s a bit scary 😳

Hi. Would you like a dog who comes back when called, who sits by your side, who you can take anywhere, who doesn’t pull on the lead, who gives things back when asked and doesn’t jump all over everyone, who will socialise without fear or over excitement. Do you want to have fun with your dogs, meet new like minded people to talk to about the dogs.
Why not join one of our obedience classes! We can help you with every aspect of training your dogs for pets or for doing other things. We are all very passionate about helping you to get the very best out of the classes so your dogs love coming and you learn a lot!
Next available starting dates are. Haughton Tuesday November 3rd 8.15pm. Penkridge Wednesday 4th 6.45pm ( just 3 places left for Penkridge!)
The cost is just £50 for a very full informative fun social six weeks course, we ask for a £20 deposit then the remaining £30 is paid on the first night. If you want to continue with the training, which we highly recommend, it’s £40 every six weeks thereafter.

Norman demonstrates a short stay and release. She will do 2 minutes but he’s trying to show that you must go back to your dog before they move so you can praise the correct way.
Lily’s looking at the other two and myself. Then she can hear the postman. These types of things must be done with distractions. So important to get a good sold stay for many reasons. She’s very easily distracted so a special toys a better option.
Airedale terriers are not the easiest dogs to train so well done 👏🏼
