It's been a busy few weeks here at the salon, which means social media has taken a bit of a back seat.

We've had the pleasure of grooming so many wonderful dogs this month, but haven't had the chance to share them all. So here's a collection of some of the lovely faces we've welcomed recently.

Double the dogs, double the cuteness! 🐾🤍

Rocket and Lulu came in for their regular pamper this week. Rocket has been having some paw discomfort, so we gave him poodle feet, shaving them right down to help keep his paws clean and comfortable. We think it makes him look like he's wearing the cutest little trousers! 🥹✨

Lulu, as always, was an absolute sweetheart and a pleasure to groom. Such a lovely duo, and we always look forward to seeing them both! 💕

✨ Before & After of the wonderfully goofy Gus! ✨

Gus is a lovely senior Gordon Setter, and while his coat isn't quite what it used to be—with a few thinner and bald patches—our goal was all about keeping him comfortable.

He's a big, lovable, utterly chaotic boy who keeps me entertained from start to finish! 😂❤️ We removed all that excess fluff to help him stay cooler in the warmer weather, while giving him a tidy-up that still suits him perfectly.

I think you'll agree he's was pretty handsome by the end... even if he did make me work for it! 🐾

There's something so special about our golden oldies, and it's always a pleasure helping them feel their best.

✨ New customer shout-out this week goes to the lovely Millie! ✨

Millie had previously been clipped, but after assessing her coat, I was able to hand strip her instead—and what a transformation! 😍

Just look at the difference in her colour... isn't it amazing? Hand stripping has revealed those rich, natural colours hiding underneath, leaving her coat looking and feeling so much healthier.

Ruby the Border Terrier was an absolute sweetheart in the salon today for her hand-stripping session. 🐾 She was a pleasure to groom from start to finish and took the whole experience in her stride.

The results speak for themselves — what an incredible transformation! 😍 Her coat is back to looking crisp, tidy, and healthy, and we think she looks so much younger! ❤️

Meet Honey 🍯, the sweetest little Cavapoo and an absolute cutie pie from start to finish. She was such a lovely girl to groom, and just look at that transformation! 😍

A fresh tidy-up, a fluffy finish, and those adorable puppy-dog eyes shining through💕🐾

Three sessions later, Pumba trusted us enough to let us complete a full groom. It’s not perfect, but comfort and confidence matter more than perfection.

This has been such a rewarding journey to be part of, watching him grow with each visit. Progress like this doesn’t happen alone. I couldn’t have done it without the dedication and teamwork of his owner, who has put in so much work at home alongside the work we’ve done in the salon.

Together, we’ve helped Pumba start to learn that grooming doesn’t have to be something to fear, and that’s a bigger achievement than any perfect haircut.

I had the absolute pleasure of grooming Boudicca, a beautiful German Wirehaired Pointer, this week. 🐾

With her striking looks, intelligent expression, and lovely temperament, she was a joy to work with from start to finish. Look how neat her coat looked at the end!

Her colouring is so unique and she cleaned up beautifully — such a sweet and pretty girl from start to finish 🤍🐶

Being left somewhere new can be stressful for an older boy with dementia, like Ted, so we kept his groom nice and quick, and made sure he had plenty of little breaks to sniff around the garden (because every Cocker Spaniel loves a good sniff 🐾🌿)

Sometimes grooming is just as much about patience, comfort, and understanding as it is about the haircut. Ted did so well, and we made sure his experience stayed as calm and gentle as possible ✂️🤍
