Courtesy of Merlin, a black-and-white cat from Torquay, who currently holds the record for the loudest purr by a domestic cat! 🐈‍⬛

His enormous purr registers at the same decibel level as a running shower — around 67 decibels — while most cats purr at just 25 decibels.

Now that’s what we call a purr-rilliant fact! 😻
