Around a year ago, I took over ownership of the Micropet franchise, with a vision to grow the brand, support our franchisees and create opportunities for more animal lovers to run their own businesses.

We’re excited to share that Micropet is now partnered with Taggzi — a modern, smart pet ID that helps reunite lost pets with their owners faster than ever.

Taggzi works with any phone, no app needed. Your pet simply wears a small tag with a QR code and NFC chip. If your pet is ever found, the finder can tap or scan the tag and instantly see your pet’s profile and the contact details you choose to share. As Taggzi explains, “the whole thing takes seconds.”

It’s quicker than waiting for a microchip scan and more reliable than an engraved tag that can fade or become outdated. You can update your details any time, from anywhere, instantly.

Taggzi also includes a free Lost Mode, which flags your pet as missing and alerts the Taggzi community network — giving you extra support when you need it most.

We’re proud to bring this technology to our Micropet families, helping keep pets safer and giving owners peace of mind.
